Mine is next Saturday :-) I just plan to straighten it. Nothing fancy!
Me! Mine is tomorrow afternoon :) I requested it be a couple's shower so I didn't have to be alone in the spotlight! It's going to be very casual I think - potluck dinner, no games, just hanging out and letting everyone get to know each other (our parents have met but none of our siblings have, plus aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends will be there) - and that's exactly how we wanted it :)
I think I'm going to straighten my hair...during the week, I work at 6:30am every day, so my "everyday" hair is either air dried or up in a clip. It's only ever straight for a special occasion :)
I have my first one next weekend! I bought my hostesses each a bottle of local wine and a box of chocolate from a local chocolatier since the shower is being held outside of Wisconsin.
I'm super excited (and have totally been registry-stalking).
I am.(and I hate being the "center-of-attention) I really did not want to have one...but my bridesmaid is making me. *sigh* (twisting arm...) lol :-) Have fun!
@Goldilocks1107 hey...are you getting married on July 3rd as well? And are you still wearing your "milana"? If so...that would be scary...we would be dress twins and date twins. Have fun at your shower!
My hair is ALWAYS straight, all I do is blow dry in the morning and it just happens. It's great for everyday, not for when I want to make it pretty! Curls do NOT work for me! Boo! I wish I was more creative with my hair! (I'm sure it helps if you start getting ready more than an hour before you have to be somewhere - that's usually my downfall. Haha.
@Goldilocks - I'm trying so HARD not to registry-stalk. I've found that just checking how many gifts are available has been satisfying the urge! Somehow, hope I can hold out till Sunday!
And for hostess gifts, not gonna lie, I "borrowed" other bees "Thank you ...for being so sweet, ...for showering me with love, ...for lighting up my day!" It worked out great, I need to make the cupcake pops tonight and tomorrow, I hope they turn out okay!
I'm having one tomorrow. I'm happy that my MOH is throwing me one but I'm bummed that the people I thought would come aren't at last minute. Only 6-7 people will be there. :(
I have a shower tomorrow too and I'm there with you - feeling nervous and excited and yes, not used to all eyes on me.
My hair and makeup trial is tomorrow too so after that's over I'm heading to my shower. :)

How exciting! The wedding is coming up faster and faster! How do you feel about the shower? I'm nervous and excited all at once. All those people there for ME!!? I hate being the center of attention... but I guess it's a small price to pay!
Also, how are you doing your hair?! I always screw mine up when I try to make it pretty!!
