Yes. I keeping having dreams about my DJ being beyond awful and making us dress like the villiage people LOL, I actually saw a video of a DJ who did them. Safe to say we didn't hire them. And I have this dream that the wedding is about to start and I do not have my hair or makeup done.
I am exactly 70 days to my wedding today too! I too have been having horrible nightmares and dreams of things going horribly wrong! The worst was one where we hired an even coordinator who took control of everything and instead of my elegant lakeside wedding in navy, white with bits of red and yellow, she planned it around a 6'5", modelesque African-American woman she thought was the bride (instead of 5'8", pasty white curvy me) and the whole wedding was done in lavendar, plastic, and paper streamers in a gym with nothing but meat to eat (My Fi and I are vegetarians)! Oh god, it was aweful. And no matter what I said or did, nobody would listen! Ugh. That was the first in a string of terrible dreams I've been having lately! I think it means my stress levels are starting to spike!
YES. Just last night. First part of dream: I missed my rehearsal dinner because I was stuck at work. Second part of dream: It was pouring rain and we couldn't get married outside like we are supposed to- and I realize it's two hours past the time the ceremony is supposed to start; my make-up and hair people never came, I'm not ready, the photog is not there - basically it's ruined.
i had a dream the other night that it was my wedding day and NOTHING was ready! and i was trying to get stuff set up. and then looked at a clock and realized it was a half hour till the wedding and i had left my curlers at home, so i had no way to do my hair!
i woke up soooooo stressed! haha
I had an awful nightmare that i forgot flowers/florist didnt show up and i didnt have a bouquet, on top of that I was pregnant, and my FI and his men didnt have tuxes and wore matching white button down shirts and jeans. we got married in a VFW hall (instead of our beautiful reception hall) and i couldnt wear the dress i bought because i was so pregnant. and I had to have a cake from the grocery store! so my whole wedding was different! it was the scariest dream ever...which sparks a lot of my fear with my vendors not showing up on my wedding day
Two memorable ones thus far -
#1 was several months back already (I even posted it, so forgive me if some of you have read this). That night, FH and I watched the ep. of The Office when it's Michael's b-day, and he is all super-excited and obnoxious about it. Kevin, in the meantime, had just found out that he might have skin cancer. The office staff is so concerned for Kevin and annoyed by Michael's irritating behavior that finally someone says to him "Nobody cares that it's your birthday, Kevin might have cancer!" So that night I dreamt that I was walking down the aisle in my fab, blingy dress and no one was looking because they were all discussing someone's serious but not definite ailment! I pitched a fit because I had "wasted" the dress!
#2 was earlier this week. I dreamt that the ceremony went fine, but that afterwards during cocktail hour, I took off my makeup and put on my pj's (boxers and old t-shirt). My mother was horrified and forced me to put my dress back on and redo my face for the reception. I was pouty and petulant like a bratty kid! Then the bandleader informed us that since we had never provided him with music requests for special dances, he was going to use very stereotypical stuff, which in the dream I was fine with, but my mother started a shouting match with him...

I have these dreams all.the.time. My most recurring one is that we don't have any wedding bands. Like didn't even buy them, not just forgot them. I just bought FI's ring last week and I've been harassing him to no end about my own because the dream stresses me out so much!!!
I frequently had dreams where I was about to walk down the aisle and we couldn't find my dress anywhere and there wasn't even time for me to shower or anything so I was gross and sweaty in some random dress I owned already. I also had dreams where I didn't have any shoes so 5 minutes before the ceremony I sent my BM's out to the mall to find some and of course ended up with ugly mismatched shoes too big for my feet..
Don't worry, they go away after the wedding! :)
I had frequent dreams where we started to get married in an unknown park that I didn't like, and everyone was trying to tell me it was okay, and I kept screaming, "No! This isn't my venue!" Also, all the flowers were wrong, and I had on this ugly dress with a horrible make-up job.
So yeah, I had lots of nightmares. Weirdly enough, it was always the same one!
Oh yes, I too am having messed up dreams! They seem silly once you think about it though.
- I forget what time the ceremony is at and I show up really late
- I forget to bring the BMs' shawls
- My FI isn't wearing the right colour
- I forgot to get my hair/makeup done
My first one was that the Mexican Trio that will be playing on our beach played an upbeat, English version of the romantic, Spanish song I chose to walk down the aisle to. They didn't know the Spanish version!
Just last night I had a dream that my brother was going to divorce his wife b/c she isn't going to my wedding. Now that wouldn't bother me all that much. lol
My FDIL told me that she dreamed she forgot to shave her armpits! She's wearing a strapless dress and she said her armpit hair was like long enough to braid! LOL!
I had a dream that all the BM wore white tights with short dresses. Ugh!
That everyone left the reception by 8 PM it was just my FI and I hanging out.
I hate having those dreams I can still remember them totally even months later.
I had a dream that I forgot to book someone to do my hair, and I didn't realize until a few hours before the ceremony so I had to do it myself lol.
Ha ha! I had one where it was 30 minutes before go time and I realized we hadn't written the ceremony! I had a few others but that's the only one I really remember. Good times... Don't worry, you'll look back on them in amusement even though it doesn't feel that way now!
Haha, some of these are hilarious! I've got a little under a year until my big day, but I've already had one super weird wedding related dream:
In my dream I was out doing something, and my mom called me and asked me if I remembered that I was getting married that day! Apparently I didn't, so I didn't have a dress. When I got to the beach house we rented to get ready in, she gave me this hideous dress and I just cried. Last minute, I decided to drive 3 hours to the crappy mall in the town where I go to college, and searched for a wedding dress in a rug store.
It was pretty bizarre. :P
Oh yes - more than I can count, actually. They've subsided in recent weeks - with the most in the first 3-4 months of planning.
My favorite dream is that I just lose track of time and forget about it because I am eating lunch. In the dream, I was pretty much ready to go except I didn't have my dress on. The church was having a bbq on the lawn, so I went to grab lunch at noon and next thing I know it is 6pm and I missed my 3pm wedding.
I had a few crazy ones before the wedding. Something always went wrong and Id wake up with headache. Ive been married almost a week and had another dream the other night. I dreamt that the rehearsal was last weekend and the real thing was supposed to be this weekend. i couldnt find my bms til 10 mins before it was supposed to start and they were still in nighties, my make up wasnt done and all the flowers were dead cause we had used them last week. ugh! i sure hope the nightmares are gone for good
I had a ton of those dreams. I tried to channel my anxiety into planning and being prepared for anything. Funny thing is, some were helpful because they made me realize things I hadn't spent much time thinking about.
YES!!!! I've been having those dreams as well. Even though my wedding is far off, I feel the need to secure everything from now.
My wedding isn't until August 13th, 2011 and I'm already having a re-occuring one which happens about 3-4 times a week. Basically the jist of it is my Fiance and the wedding party decides to bump up the wedding date to tomorrow as a "big happy surprise" for me. I wake up to him throwing clothes at me and saying "get up and get ready! we gotta go!" and I'm confussed as ever. We get to my parent's farm where the wedding is held, and everything is decorated (but not the way I wanted) and everyone is there waiting and watching me while I'm kicking and screaming as he drags me up the driveway explaining to him that I'm not ready because I don't have a dress, my makeup isn't done or anything...
The first time it happened I woke up freaking out but now it's no biggy...
I've been having crazy dreams too!!
Like I was soo busy getting ready for the day that I worked right up until the very last minute-- I didn't have any of my accessories or my hair or makeup done, I wasn't even present at my own wedding and showed up at the end in dirty clothes because I was busy decorating the reception hall, and my mom was going to try and walk me up the aisle (weird)
Mine are nonstop. 1. There is a wild coyote that is trying to attack everyone during outdoor cocktails. 2. The food takes forever and I attempt to go back there and try to help them prepare it to come out faster. I realize that its the wrong food and there isn't enough of it. 3. the list goes on and on.
OMG my wedding isn't until 2012 and I already have those dreams!!! The other night I dreamt that I realized I was at my wedding and didn't buy my dress or have decorations or anything but decided to just do it anyway and get married! It turned out alright in my dream not having a dress or decorations or anything but I was really glad it was just a dream when I woke up :)
YES!! They started a couple weeks ago, and we have five weeks til our wedding. Every night is a new adventure. :)

We're like 70 days away from the wedding and I have this dream over and over again where something huge goes wrong-- like I realize I never bought a dress for the rehearsal dinner, or I don't have shoes for the ceremony, or something like crazy like that!
Anyone else have dreams like this?! They drive me insane!!!
