With only two months left until the wedding, I started having wedding nightmares.
Last night my nightmare was about a huge storm the day before the wedding and the power went out at our venue and all the food spoiled. With only 3 hours left until the ceremony someone tells me that there is no food to serve at our wedding.
To top it off, my make up and hair person is 3 hours late to the hotel.
I woke up crying.

I had a dream that Fiance came up to me and was like “I don’t want to get married anymore”
Ugh worst nightmare ever. His morning text helped me come back to reality though 🙂

I had one a few weeks ago that I overslept (totally not me) and I was 2 hours late to the church made everyone late and by the time I got there everyone was mad at me and had left. I woke up VERY stressed lol.
I think its completely normal to have them. I also get them during tax season when we have our big dealines and you wake up thinking about all you have to do.

Also having wedding nightmares here! I keep dreaming that I trip over my dress while im walking down the aisle. Another recurring nightmare is also that we get to the venue after the ceremony and the decoration is totally wrong 🙁

i have them on a consistent basis.
my bachelorette party/bridal shower was this weekend and i had nightmares about them on both friday and saturday night! one involved no one showing up except for my mom and dad and 1 bridesmaid… i can’t remember the other right now.
but a lot of my regular wedding nightmares involve my dress not being altered, me waking up late, the photographer not showing, etc etc etc.
i know its only going to get worse!

Definitely having nightmares. Waking up abruptly, worrying about random things.
Today, I woke up worrying about the number of guests we’ll have (a lot of declines over the last week)… had a mini anxiety attack, but all is well.

I have been experiencing this too. Most of them are waking up the morning of the wedding with things left to do- my dress never got altered, I just get out of the shower at 3:15 for our 3:30 wedding, etc.
We’re just under a lot of stress!

I’m glad I am not alone in this! I had one the other night where pretty much everything went wrong. It was one thing after another and the whole wedding was a disaster. Ahhhh! My stress level seems to be going up as the days go by and the nightmares aren’t helping. I hope I am not a complete basket case by the time the day come!

I just had a super bad wedding nightmare last night… we basically just went to our reception, ate a few bites of food, and ended up leaving without doing ANY of the traditional stuff because I was having an anxiety attack. No cake cutting, no dances, nothing. When I realized what had just happened (still in the nightmare), I started bawling hysterically thinking about how I would never be able to do any of that over again and how I spent all that money to spend 10 minutes at the reception.
I woke up practically hyperventilating.

I am glad to know I’m not alone too!
My worst wedding nightmare so far was a couple of days ago: EVERYTHING went wrong. I got the the reception and there were NO centerpieces, placecards, or decorations at all. I tried to find the day of coordinator to see where the decor I put so much work into was, and she (and all my stuff) was nowhere to be found, the tablecloths were purple plastic instead of white cloth, and the food was runngin two hours late, so only about 10 people were hanging around the bare tables – everyone else had apparently left to get food. Even my mom was gone, and I woke up right as I walked into Rite Aid (!!!) in my dress, trying to find her!
It took a few hours before the ingering stress from that dream was gone lol
