Wow, I am 29 and that's the first earthquake I've ever felt. I didn't even know that happened here! Anyone else?

Indeed... I'm in DC, and that was scary! ...the security in my office thought it was a bomb and had us all evacuate.

I'm watching it on the news. I'm near Baltimore. It shook my entire house and almost knocked a ceiling fan out of the ceiling into my 60 gallon fish tank!!!!  Scared the hell out of me. My husband is coming home from work now

I'm outside of Baltimore and we felt it!  I'm freaked out!  It apparently was a 5.8!

There's construction at the lot next door to my office, so our building shakes daily... I didn't realize it was an earthquake and just thought it was the trucks. Bah! Oh, and I'm in NH.

Hello Bees. I work at the high school in Mineral. Luckily all of our schools evacuated with minor injuries. Honestly it was the scariest thing I have ever been through. It seemed to last forever.

The last couple of weeks have been rough as we have adjusted to sharing buildings and new schedules admist continuous (but luckily smaller) aftershocks. The high school is sharing the middle school building and we are going Monday, Wedneday, and Friday from 8-5 until a mobile high school can be put together (targer - February). I am hoping to use some of my Tuesday-Thursday time for some DIY projects for my April 2012 wedding.
