They felt it in Ottawa too! I have a ton of friends there that just have updated facebook (Ottawa has been known to get earthquake every couple of years) but for it to be felt all the way to London? That is crazy!

In Kitchener, we felt it... not me personally. But other people in my building felt it.
I'm visiting my parents in Brampton and our whole house moved here. Crazy.
OMG. I'm in Michigan and I felt it move. It was really subtle, but the couch started rocking.
Yeah it was pretty crazy feeling. 5.5 here in Ottawa.
I had never been through something like that before, couldn't even imagin a big one!

I am near Detroit and people felt it. Not me though. The news has been talking about it for the past 45 minutes. Geez.
Edit: I'm sure it was more noticeable other places and worth reporting, just here it seems silly. Plus they have been posting severe thunderstorm warnings all day and it's bright and sunny!
I'm in North York/North Toronto and I feel like I just got off a rollercoaster, what a gross feeling, and our entire building shook. Our chairs in the kitchen were dancing. I called friends in Chicago and they didn't feel it but I heard that Philly and Ohio did.
OH i felt it good..i was on my chair and it was SHAKING as if somebody was doing it..i lived in California before so this is nothing and normal for me..but i missed feeling the ground move hehhe ...before that i lived in Tehran Iran we did not get earth quakes AS often as in CA but when it happened it was big..last one i felt there was 6 yrs about around 6.8 or so and our wall cracked in front of my eyes..still i refused to move hahha
@butterflylover: My officemate and I just turned around and stared at each other because we thought that the other person was shaking our chair!
(We do it all the time to get each others attention!)
I was so confused!
I definately felt it and I am in upstate New York, near Saratoga
Felt it here in Ohio, just southeast of Pelee Island Ontario on the shore

So the ground just moved!
Anyone else feel it? My FI said the whole house shock where he is, and a girl in my office said her friend in Hamilton felt it!
Everyone in my office is going kinda nuts about it :-) It's funny because we are talking the slightest movement so people who get earthquakes will make fun of us!
But the GROUND DOESN'T MOVE here!
LOL!
