@BlushingBride3814:  I think many brides go through the same thing. There are so many lovely inspiration pics out there that we fall in love with. It’s hard to narrow down to just one.

Stick with items you really love and it will begin to come together naturally.  Not too matchy matchy.

@BlushingBride3814:  In the beginning I did that.  But I set a date when I HAD to have a choice made.  It was rough because FI would say he was ok with one idea, and then 2 weeks later he said NO I don’t like purple.  GRRR   I finally stopped talking to him about stuff like that!

The only thing that has remained consistent in my planning is plum bridesmaid dresses. We started off with a plum/silver scheme with lots of silver platters (thrift stores) and sparkly elements. Then when we picked our venue, which is full of red brick, I switched to plum/champagne because silver seemed awful against the venue. Then for a while, I reallllly wanted to do a blush/pink/gold/champagne scheme, but I didn’t want to give up my plum bridesmaids. FI was adamant against it being super girly though, which is where that palette took me. I wanted someone whimsical and romantic, he wanted something woodsy and rustic (minus the burlap and mason jars). It took us seven months to settle onto a theme for good. Now we are having a woodland fairytale. He gets his tree stumps and rustic elements, plus I get my girliness. (And I’m keeping my plum bridesmaids!)

or do i want it to be love story (using book paper to make flowers) mixed with live ones and a touch of vintage flare

or or or do i want it to be pretty flowers and lux touches with vinitian masks and golds and slivers creams and blushes

or or or do i want it more rustic and causal boho gypsy vibe

THIS!!! OMG!!! FI picked navy/midnight blue so that stuck. The venue we found is super earthy-ish, lol! Browns and creams so the white wall of flowers is out. So far I have Ivory linens, navy overlays, various small vases andand ivory dress… I was thinking love birds or love story but I’m sooo over planning…HA!

Whenever I see a pretty wedding I want to switch my colours. Especially when I see a blush pink/gold/white wedding since it was a close second for me. But I keep telling myself to stick with my original choice! I’m scared I’ll regret any changes.
