@KateByDesign:  My friend is almost 20 weeks ago and you honestly can carely tell.  If you didn’t know her, you wouldn’t even know.

I didn’t find out I was pregnant until I was almost 8 weeks along- meaning no symptoms for me- except I had started feeling tired- BUT I was also taking a class that started at 5am, so I thought it was from getting up super early.  Right after 10 weeks (my first DR’s appointment) is when I started to bloat.  It started out looking like maybe I just drank a too much beer LOL– then slowly turned into the bump!

I don’t think everyone get’s the early bloat.  It can be from gas (your digestive system does weird thinks when you’re pregnant)- or extra water weight right away.

@KateByDesign:  OMG I am so sorry for all of my typos.  I am in bed sick (and getting married on Saturday!)- and I’m not all there!! 🙂

I didn’t really get any until about 11-12 weeks along.  It could always be coming!  It was probably the worst then though (because it was all bloat, I wasn’t showing) I think I still get bloated now but it’s not as noticeable.  I wouldn’t worry though, just consider yourself lucky.

I felt really thin at 6-8 weeks and then all of sudden I bloated like crazy lol I didnt actually gain any weight until 14-16 weeks but I just felt like a puffy mess.

@KateByDesign:  I am bloated BUT I’m dropping some weight? Go figure that one out. I’m definitely not fitting well in my skinny jeans but the scale has dropped 3 lbs already. I’m only 5 weeks though and I’m very very short so I might feel bigger than I actually am… the bloat is driving me bonkers!

@KateByDesign:  Yep! By 12 weeks I had lost 7lbs. At 28 weeks I’ve only gained 16lbs (from my low weight, a 9lb net gain)

You can’t tell I’m pregnant at ALL! I’m still wearing my normal jeans.

@KateByDesign:  At ten weeks I really wouldn’t expect you too… your baby is like jelly bean size. I was very lucky and didn’t start showing until I was over 25 weeks and never got a big bump, I never even needed maternity clothing and at no point did I look pregnant… im skinny so thought that i would show loads so I was constantly worrying but I had a healthy baby anyway so i wouldnt worry too much.

I really didn’t have any bloat nothing like what I’ve heard about/seen pictures of. I also lost weight and didn’t have any weight gain until 25 weeks and at that time I had gained 3lbs.

Take it with a grain of salt. Everyone’s symptoms and pregnancies are different, and you don’t know what the people in the photos looked like beforehand or how their diet/lifestyle has changed since their BFP!

I didn’t experience any bloat early on, and throughout my pregnancy people have commented on both how huge and how tiny I am for being x weeks along. It’s all very subjective, so don’t sweat it. Your body will do what it needs to do.

With my first, no one even guessed I was pregnant until almost 7 months.  This time, I am 16 weeks and no bump at all.  I had a tiny bloat around 3-4 weeks, but it went away.  I imagine I will start showing around week 20 this time, but we shall see!

I felt bloated but I lost weight first trimester (just from not drinking, eating more conscientiously, and also not feeling great).  I didn’t start to gain weight again until about 14 weeks and I broke even around 22 weeks.  I say embrace it!  Everybody’s different, and there will be plenty of time for you to get bigger down the road, so enjoy your regular clothes for now.
