I’m having a small wedding at a local country club. There will only be 50 guests, most of which is family. We have one bridesmaid and one groomsman. We don’t see the need for a rehearsal but my sister (bridesmaid) is freaking out and saying we do. I just say whatever happens, happens. I’ve gone over the order of the ceremony with the officiant and the music guy so I think a rehearsal is not necessary. Any thoughts?

@DayDay: We aren’t.Because it would involve catching a ferry over to the island where the venue is, and then catching one home. Too costly..

I really like the idea of whatever happens, happens. We aren’t doing an official rehearsal or rehearsal dinner. We’ll go over the ceremony with our officiant and Mothers. Music with the DJ. We don’t have a wedding party just me, my fiancé, and his son. FI will escort his Grandparents and seat them. His son will escort his Nana and seat her and my Mother will walk me down the aisle.
