I tried on a dress at the salon and didn’t really think much of…. until I got home. I was looking through the pics I took that day and I found the dress to be beautiful and romantic and so flattering! Anyone else have this problem?

i’ve had the opposite. i thought it was the dress until i saw pics of me in it at home. LOL lucky i hadn’t paid anything.

I knew it was the dress within seconds of putting it on…and the pictures just justified my decision even more 🙂

I kind of had the opposite of you; pictures helped me make the decision. I was torn between two dresses and went with the one that photographed better.

Opposite here, loved the dress in the shop, saw pics at home and had second thoughts. Once I went to my first fitting I was so happy with it.

@txsupergirl: ditto here. i thought i had found the dress i wanted until i looked at the pictures, where all of the rhinestones come up black because of the way the flash reflects off the back of the rhinestone. i talked to my photographers about it — they said the “pro pics” would be fine, but i also realize that many people will be their with their own cameras and the dress would show up as having black spots on it on their photos. so i went with a different dress.

I had the same experience as @txsupergirl:. I liked my dress in person, and I still got twinges when I saw it in person right up until I packed it to send to its new owner. But it looks so blah on my in pictures, like I have no waist. I definitely think the opposite can be true!

I’m totally with you tessemass girl! I was trying to decide between two dresses at the salon, and definitely like one more than the other at the store – but when I got home and looked at myself in the pictures, there was no doubt the dress I liked less in the store was the dress I wanted to wear on the big day. It just did everything right for my body and I looked amazing in it.
