Man, oh, man. I have my first day of Winter quarter tomorrow and I’m so anxious I’ve eaten an entire pizza today, some lasagna, some very rich brownies, and an entire bottle of soda sort of dreading it
I had a pretty awful quarter in the Fall: One of my teachers was terrible. The worst. She made so many students feel like dropping out of school altogether, I kid you not… so she sort of sapped my energy and shook my confidence as far as school goes. I got a 3.5 in her class. Not bad, but considering I’ve been busting my ass for a 4.0 overall GPA, I’m not exactly pleased.
Anyway, normally I’m really excited for a new quarter but this time I’m pretty scared. Woo-sah.
Anyone else feeling a little anxious?

Yes. I feel sick just knowing I have to go back. I just want to be done. But I have to work to get the grades I want/deserve/paid for.
Sorry you didn’t do as well as you’d hoped, I’m sure all will improve as the days get longer 🙂

I start today and I am SO not looking forward to it. It’s my last semester though, so that’s good at least. I hope you have better teachers this time!

I’m heading back today too. Not very excited.

I start Monday on my last undergrad semester. I’m excited for my classes but it will be a good deal of work (two 4000 levels and then my fourth semester of Bib. Hebrew and that’s always a lot of studying). Unfortunately, on the whole when I get really excited for a class, it will blow up a bit for whatever reason. But I’ve had these professors before so maybe I’ll avoid that this time.

Orientation is on Monday for me. I’m an active duty Marine but I’ve been given an opportunity to attend college so I can complete my degree in Accounting and remain in the military. Classes start on Wednesday. I’m a little nervous. I’ve been in the military for fifteen years and it’ll be a transition going to school full time.

ME! I am dreading Monday. I have enjoyed this past month off and the last thing I want to do is open a textbook and be all academic-minded again! I am doing online schooling, and I am seeing what they are saying how it’s harder than in person. I’m already considering dropping one course as it seems like it would sink my GPA. The difficult part is finding a suitable alternative that is 4 credit hours (a lot of classes are 3 credit hours).

Uuuuuuugh not me. Im taking a math class, which I ultra hate math. And a lot of my classes (junior and senior level) don’t allow for ANY missed classes. I will be missing at least two just for my sister’s wedding. Ugh. Just one of my classes involves four papers (one of which is 10 pages long), 2 presentations, and three exams. And I have four more classes to add on top of it.
Im not sure yet but I can see about 4-5 presentations, 10+ papers, and 12 exams this semester. Plus daily reading and Im sure daily math homework. I need to go cry in a corner now.
