Well since I graduated from high school at the end of the 80's and T was in college during the end of the 80's you can darn well bet we'll have some 80's music!

    The 80's totally rocked!!!

My FH and I love 80s music.  We haven't figured out music yet but it'll definitely include lots of 80s.  We've even discussed having an 80s band perform for an hour as a surprise for the guests.

I don't love Rock 80s I love Country 80s.  The FI loves Rock 80s.  So for his 30th bday we went downtown to Sherlock's on W. Gray and there was an 80s bad.  He stood in front of them on the dance floor all night bouncing up and down.  Head bouncing to the side and one arm up in the air!  The next day he woke up and said his neck hurt and I died laughing.  He had too much fun!  We had a lot of fun watching him

My husband and I love the 80s! We had a very 80s-heavy reception. We didn't explicitly ask for one, but there were a lot of 80s songs on the list of preferred-but-non-mandatory tunes we gave our DJ. He played three Madonna songs from the Immaculate Collection, so I was a very happy bride. And our guests had a great time. I will say, however, that New Order's "Age of Consent" cleared the dance floor. Our DJ had to play Beyonce's "Single Ladies" to get everyone back. =)

Loooooove 80s music, but not really my FI's thing.  I'm definitely planning on sneaking some classic 80s songs into our reception though!  Innocent

Um...is it bad that I used to imagine using instrumentals from Top Gun as my processional and recessional music?

FI and I met at 80's night at a local bar. What would our wedding be without some quality tunes?! :)

I would TOTALLY have 80's music at my wedding!  Probably a bit of 70's (I'll say it loud and I'll say it proud, I LOVE DISCO!), 90'S, 00'S, etc.  If it moves the booty or moves the heart it's welcome at my (someday, maybe) wedding!

I love the 80s! Some of the best dance, feel-good music came out of the 80s... we had quite a bit of it played at our wedding :)

80 music is fantastic but when it comes down to it play what you and your FI really enjoy...it is your day!

@flipflopbride, no that's not bad, that's amazing!!! I am walking down the aisle to "Love of a Lifetime" by firehouse, but on the violin, and then it will be FI and my first dance. Our violinist will also be doing Peter Cetera's "Glory of Love" for the girls to walk down to, and we're working on figuring out a song for her to play as the groomsmen seat our moms and my gram and great gram...

The ONLY question I asked the DJ was how he was fixed on 80's music... we're both 80's nerds.
