Just wondering if anyone out there in pregnant bee world is on bed rest right now?
I just came back from a 3 day stay at the hospital where I found out I have an unusual complication that makes labour dangerous. I’ll have to go back to the hospital to be on modified bed rest for one month before a c-section.
I’m glad to be home for now, but it’s hard to not clean, or be able to go grocery shopping, or do any other stuff except sit around! It’s also surprisingly stressful to be told that you can’t move around too much. I don’t like feeling fragile!

@bug-in-a-rug: that does sound a bit stressful! so do you have to be lying down or is sitting fine? will the hosptial let you have a wheelchair so someone can wheel you out for a change of scenery every now and again?
i guess id be relying on movies, reading and id probably try to start some kind of hobby like knitting. hoping it passes quickly for you and isnt too stressful

@newname_99: Ha, thanks for responding. I guess there’s not too many people out there!
I am allowed to walk around for like, 20 minutes at a time and stuff. Thankfully I don’t have to literally be lying down 24/7.
I am thinking of taking up crocheting….

Crochet’s a good idea. It’s easy to teach yourself, and there are so many cute patterns online for baby things.
I haven’t been on this kind of restriction, but I can imagine it would be frustrating. Do you have any reading to catch up on? :/ I’d be bored stiff after a month.

Yeah! I think maybe everyone’s Christmas gift this year will be something crocheted, if I do take it up, ha ha.
It’s actually (best case scenario) 2.5 months total bed rest – 1.5 at home, 1 at hospital. So… I’ve got a lot of time to fill! The hospital is a weird, depressing place to stay. Maybe by the time I’m back in there, there will be a bee I can complain about stuff with.

I was but thankfully it was only for a few weeks. I did a lot of internet surfage. Found a lot of baby ideas. I already crochet some so I started learning more complicated things so I can make baby stuffed animals. 🙂 Just try to not let it get to you and try and do something for yourself sometimes. Just putting my hair up nice or putting light makeup on made me feel less like a slob ya know? Good luck and I hope your situation improves!
