I think it looks great! When you said brown and red I didn't think I'd like it, but they actually look great in the photo! And I think the BM dress complements yours very well!
You look stunning in this dress!!! I tried on about 50 dresses and told my self that I just needed to get one that I felt gorgeous in! I bought it and now I wont even look at other dresses! It took so much pressure off of me.. If you feel gorgeous in it, get it, dont look back and just keep moving foward with other plans.. The bm dresses are nice too, they go great with your dress. DONT STRESS!!! I promice you...once you purchase your dress...you will feel great!!!!!!!

The dress and the BM dresses are gorgeous!
But if you are feeling overwhelmed why don't you chill with the decisions for a bit!
You are still really far out! You could sit on the dress for a couple more weeks and you can sit on the BM dresses for a few months yet (it is recommended to get the BM dresses 6-8 months out)
This way you can be a free agent and then KNOW you love the dresses before you buy them!
My wedding will be a couple weeks before yours and I havn't bought my wedding dress (buying it this week) yet and honestly I haven't even really thought seriously about BM dresses.
There is NO need to put pressure on yourself this early! Just relax and ENJOY the planning!

just try to breathe and relax. i know i am further from my wedding than you, but i think you are far enough that you could do this: take a break! last week i told FI that i was not going to do any wedding stuff because i had too much going on and it was stressing me out. i'm taking a break, i think maybe you need one too!! :)
i guess weddingbee doesn't count during my break though... lol

I'm not too stressed now but I can guanantee come Jan. 2010 (after the holidays) I'll start to feel it a little.
Hang in there. Also, don't forget to take some time for yourself to decompress.
First off, I love the dress choices. You look great in that style. That being said, you don't have to get it. I felt the same way. I didn't have a specific direction in mind for the wedding. So, I felt lost when it came to making firm decisions. As we got closer, our tastes began to surface and gel more. So, the decisions and our visions are finally being finalized.
It's easier to say than to do, but don't put pressure on yourself. If you feel like you're trying to make a decision without being sure. Take time off of your wedding. Even if it's one day, it could make a difference in how you see everything tomorrow. I looked at lots of pictures. I narrowed it down by knowing what I didn't want rather than forcing myself to figure out what I did want.
You can do this. You have a great start already if you go with your choices so far. But just remember, you don't have to.
Yes! I've never doubted myself more. It's a really irritating feeling, as I'm not usually an insecure person, but this wedding has really made me feel that way. I keep trying to remember that it doesn't have to be perfect... and what does that even mean? Everyone's idea of perfection is different anyway. Ack, but I'm still a stressball about it.
What a beautiful dress! And great colour combo for the BM dresses too! The pressure of having the "perfect" wedding is something that I think all brides worru about - even the most chill our of brides! But at the end of the day - remember that it's a big party to celebrate you and your (soon-to-be) hubby! And no matter what you and your FI try to do, there will undoubtedly be someone who won't like the way you did/didn't do something, but you need to do what feels right for YOU!!!

Seriously. Whenever you feel stressed think me me me. Does this make me happy? At the end of the day, that is all that matters. You and your hubby. ;)
Everything looks beautiful. No matter how hard you try nothing is going to run perfectly. There are going to be some snags along the road. Just relax and enjoy this. Its the ONLY wedding you will have and you need to nejoy the prep. Once you are standing up there with your fiance commiting yourself to eachother you are going to realize that none of those details matter. Its the marriage, not the wedding that is the most important part. :-)
The best piece of advice I've gotten so far, is once you buy your dress, STOP looking at other ones! There will always be another dress, you know? I kept second-guessing myself, but once I stopped looking at other dresses, I felt much better.
Aside from that, your dress looks wonderful on you! It's very flattering, and a total stunner!

I don't know what it is about this wedding but it has made me beyond insecure. I am second guessing everything. I'm on my 3rd dress now and I loved it a week ago but now I'm all nervous. Then we picked out BM dresses and I'm second guessing those too. Anyone else feel like EVERYTHING has to be perfect. I feel like if even one hair is out of place everything will be ruined. I've included my dress and the BM dress (the tan color is the dress but we're doing the brown and red). For some reason I feel like the 2 don't go well together. Like maybe they should have straps?
