Don't worry, they won't even remember the pics once they see you in person in your fab dress. It's special that so many people are excited to get a sneak peak!
I didn't think of it that way! You are right, they probably won't remember with it being a year away lol Thanks =)
Not only that but if the pics werent of YOU in the dress then it doesnt matter. I had sent out pics after some alterations of me in my dress. Then after another round of alterations it looked SOOO much better. I wished that I had never sent out that first set because the dress didnt look too flattering on me then. But it doesnt matter because it will only matter when you wear it on your wedding day.
@ clarebee: The pictures were of me in it, and like you felt, I now feel that it wasn't the most flattering because it wasn't even in my size! But you are you are right, it doesn't matter until the day of! Thanks for your comment =)
it's ok...my mom printed out a picture of me IN my dress and had it on her fridge for God knows how long and who knows how many people saw it. I discovered over Thanksgiving when we were there and my now husband came out of the kitchen totally freaked out and said "i'm not sure because i looked away real fast, but i think there's a picture of your wedding dress on the fridge" OMG mom, really!?!? LOLOL
I know what you mean... I sent a friend just a stock pic of the dress (not me in it), and wondered later if I should have just kept it a secret. But I can't imagine keeping it too much of a secret for so long, because I was so excited about it.
But it's true some people won't remember. Before I got engaged, I never really paid enough attention to the wedding dress to really remember it even after seeing it in-person at the wedding.
@honeybun: the fact that your mom had a pic on the fridge is cute and hilarious.
I'm so glad I read this cos I'm hopefully going in to try on my dress tomorrow and I'm hoping she'll let me take photos. My BM's and the mums are really keen to see it but part of me wants to keep it a suprise! LOL (Although I'm dying to have pictures to post on the bee!!!!)
I showed a couple people my first fitting pics and regretted it a little bit but the really funny thing happened at the church. As I was waiting in the basement to make my entrance (almost all my family on my dad and moms side who had an hour and a half drive) came downstairs one after another as they arrived because they needed to use the washroom. none of them knew i was down there and it was kinda neat cause I had a moment with each of them to give them hugs - but talk about ruining the surprise entrance lol

Hi Bees,
Ok so I'm kinda freaking out! I ordered mydress yesterday, and got SUPER excited so I e-mailed the pics of me to 4 of my girlfriends. These 4 girlfriends proceeded to show the pics to other people w/out my knowledge. Now I know I should have told them NOT to show anyone else, but I was sooo excited that I had no time to think.
So anyway, after the excitement faded a bit, I regretted sending out the pics so soon and wish that I could've left it as a surprise for everyone (except my MOH and mom, who were with me). So I then decided that I that I wouldn't show it to anyone else.
But then, another girlfriend of mine texted me asking if she could a pic because one of the gfs who saw it showed the pic to her sister who then posted on my FB "I love how the dress looks on you!" and so now the other gf who hasn't seen it is asking me why I can't show her if so and so sister got to see it. Jeez!
Anyway, besides that, last night I was having NIGHTMARES about everything going wrong with the dress. What if it comes in too big (because they ordered 1 size up) and even with altering it won't look good? What if it comes in the wrong color? (I tried on white, but ordered Ivory, but what if it looks too yellow?) Ugh I know I'm being super paranoid, so just hoping that some of you bee's have felt the way I am today!!
