i keep going back and forth with this one! i’ll have to consult my FI with his opinion 🙂 @Chela429 that photo does sway me to the “pocket square” side though!

I was thinking pocket squares. Since we are doing our own flowers that would be one less thing for me to worry about! But I asked FI if he was ok with no boutonnieres and he insisted on them having boutonnieres..

Good question!  I just asked my fiance and he said he wanted a small bout AND the pocket squares.  🙂  I said you usually just do one so he picked bouts.  If it was up to me I would probably have him wear a boutonnier and his groomsmen wear pocket squares (they came free with the tie and vest) but he’s more matchy than I am.  I’ll still mention the idea.  Who knows, maybe he’ll go for it.

We’re skipping out on bouts, but I’m leaving it up to my groom-to-be if he’ll do an ivory pocket square.

No bouts here.  I’m doing all the flowers the day of the wedding, so it’ll save precious time.  He could care less.

We almost went with pocket sqares…..but I really wanted to make the bouts so we went with it and they’re super cool.  I think either way you’re fine.  And I love the look of a pocket square, it’s so chiq and clean.  But I do agree that a bout. and pocket square together is prob overkill.

our guys are having pocketsquares – does that mean I shouldnt have boutinerees? I am so clueless on this and FH is on his own cloud when I talk about wedding attire.

This is kind of a silly outtake, but we did pocketsquares for our guys… that I hand-embroidered with their first initial…

One of them forgot theirs so for the pics, til we got it from DH’s aunt, he stuck a neatly folded white sock in his pocket…

I didn’t realize it’s becoming a trend. My fiance refuses to wear one!!!!!!!
