I’m with you! I’m a blogger. I have so many inspiration pictures that I could go in 100 different directions. Do you use Pinterest? I use it and at Lester have floral styles narrowed down.

I think we’ve all done the same thing.

For me it was because I had already planned much of my decor, bm dresses, flowers, my dress, etc, etc before I found the bee. Then I get on here and suddenly the ideas I had that I thought were unique were not so much in the wedding world. And it seemed like EVERYONE and their mom had my wedding dress, that was quite a shock.

I kept running across ideas and pictures from other bees that I fell in love with. Suddenly in my head I’m thinking : “I could do that” or “That’s so cute, and it’s only XXXX amount of $$!!”

But honestly, I’ve always come back around to my original ideas. And why? Because although all those other ideas represent some part of me, the ideas FI and I have for our wedding are truly us.

In the end, you just have to know what’s right for you.

I actually scrapped everything almost 3 months into planning b/c I changed my mind… yep half way through making invites.. having bought plenty of cardstock (at 15 bucks a pack).. and bookmarking TONS of stuff.. So I think it just happens with wedding planning. lol

Oh and not to mention how I questioned EVERYTHING through my planning b/c it was so different than the stuff I see so much of… but I did stick with it. lol

Absolutely. I really got bogged down in the beginning. I am seriously indecisive and a perfectionist so I always question everything I do (what if it can be done better, etc). When the time came to start making decisions, I just picked something and stuck with it. It was hard, but once I put in an order for flowers, etc I had to go with it.

At first, I wanted to go with a Palms Springs Viceroy type of feel. I love Kelly Wearstler, imperial trellis and that mod/retro rat pack palm springs type of feel. I was going to go with black, white, gray, yellow and maybe touches of pink like . . .

At the same time, I fell in love with silvers and blush with lots of crystals.

I ended up going with silvers and blush. SO’s more traditional and honestly it was easier to source everything. I still second guess every decision though. The millions of ideas and gorg pics make it even harder.

In the end the budget and vendors available  helped dictate alot of the choices though.

Hee Hee! I’m thinking of using the light sage imperial trellis for the background of the on which my escort cards will hang. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hell yes I do.  But that’s an every day thing for me regarding just about everything.  Hah.

I FINALLY decided on my colors.  I only went through a million choices/changes.
