Haha, it's definitely not the ugliest wedding dress I've seen out there!  ;)

I don't hate it, but I think its a little over the top for me!

I think it would be lovely with a plain top, just plain and cut straight across

I think it's very rude of you to post this here where the seller (who is ON weddingbee) could possibly see it. And you're probably messing with her chances of selling that dress.

I don't think the question is whether the dress is to anyone's taste, but in fact whether this thread belongs here. I think you should delete it.

I think when I went to Kleinfeld I spoke to my consultant about that dress and she said a lot of brides were coming in and buying it! I was really surprised because it's not the type of dress that's 'universally flattering', you know?

ug. flatten out the skirt and it might look okay. seriously though, butt wrinkle? no thanks!

(that's what my FI calls the multilayered bubble skirts - butt wrinkles, since he says the look like the bride has a biiiiig saggy butt. I LOVE his commentary on wedding dresses, hahaha...)

I think it's definitely a high-fashion type look.  Not for me, but definitely would look great on others ;o)

@ jill - i do agree it's not the best idea to post where the seller could see, but if you click the user, that's all they have done on WB...posted that dress.  so, not justifying it or anything, but i had a feeling that might be the case!

It is by Vivienne Westwood (I do believe) and she's definitely high fashion.  I like alot of this dress btw.  For the right person, it would be great.

@krissycake That doesn't mean she's not a regular reader of the blog or boards. I lurked for a long, long time before signing up to comment, and for even longer before I started commenting semi-regularly. I just think it would have been better to perhaps link to the original dress or an external site if you're going to post something like this. If I was the seller and I saw this I certainly wouldn't come back to weddingbee!

I like that dress- specifically the skirt! :)

and serisouly, how would you feel if someone posted a picture of a dress you loved and bought and said they hated it? Maybe that bride looked totally awesome in it- I'm sure her confidence makes her a beautiful bride no matter what she wears.
