I’m looking into using manzanita branches in the centerpieces for my NYE wedding. (Main reason being that the less flowers that need to be transported the better – being that it’s a holiday).
Are any of you familiar with how much these should cost? Or have a direction you could point me in as far as vendors go? (They would need to be able to be shipped to Houston TX)
Any suggestions are very much appreciated!! Also, if you had these as centerpieces in your wedding I would love to see what you did!

@SecretBee23: We used manzanita branches in half of our centerpeices (the other half were lanterns). I don’t know the cost per say, as they were included in our decor package. I admit, at first I did not want anything to do with them as they weren’t my particular style but once our decorator did a mock-up table and we sat underneath them, we were in love!
Our decorator spread them out wide and hung strings of pearls and candle votives from them. It felt like you were sitting under a treed canopy and our guests loved them! It really brought the room in (we had a large hall) and made it cozy. The mixture of high branches and low lanterns really worked well.

We used mitsumata branches as our centerpieces.
They’re shapeable if you soak them in water for an hour (we didn’t have time for that on our wedding day, so we left them as is).
We got ours from Koyal Wholesale, which was cheap but a headache – at least online. That store has a ways to go in terms of getting their act together. Other stores do carry mitsumata (please note I am NOT advocating for any of these; my experience has only been with Koyal!):
Now we use them around the house as decor!

My DSD and DSSIL had tree branches as the basis of their centerpieces, and they looked great!

I was loving the tree/branch idea, until I saw the cost. I’m going with some curly willow sticking out of the vases with flowers. It’s still tree’ish and woodsy, IMO, without being the cost of an actual “tree/branches (like what has been pictured above)”.

I am using willow branches as well I attended the San Francisco Flower market and they sold a large bunch for $17.50 here are the type of branches we are using. I believe with the large bunch we could make about 6 centerpieces.
