Don’t feel bad at all… I definitely felt that… It’s like to many details for too short of a time and it CONSUMES your life… I just wanted it to be OVER!  i am down to two weeks and I am excited again…. especially when you see it all come together.  I know there are things that will go wrong that day.. but who cares… that’s life.

Do don’t feel bad, you will go through a muriad of emotions..  This too shall pass.  What I did was I took an entire week off from planning, no wedding boards, no answering questions about the wedding, no looking at invites or the guest list and my FI and I didnt discuss it.  That gave me a sense of normalcy.

I feel you!! I don’t want to plan anymore. I don’t want to think another minute about centerpieces or favors or rsvps or food or tablecloths or ANYTHING. I just want it to be over so I can be married to my best friend and sitting on a beach in Jamaica being served mimosas by a butler.

I’m soooooooooooooooooo over the planning and unwanted opinions and “suggestions” and all of that nonsense.

I started to feel this way about a month ago.  It wasn’t just wedding planning either, it was making decisions in general.  With 3 days left, I’m at the point where “I don’t care” is my new favorite phrase.  I’m so over planning, I just want to get married already!

@dreamer1288:  Yeah, I am pretty sick of planning too.  I want to just be married now!  I don’t know what I will do after the fact when I don’t have to be so consumed with all of the little details that a year ago really did not matter.

I think it is normal.  I have good days, followed by bad ones.  But still on most days.  I am just super excited to be HIS bride.

@dreamer1288: If it wasn’t for the fact that my mom and his mom would disown us, I’d elope. I’d elope in a heartbeat. I hate planning. I thought it would be fun but it has brought nothing but stress.

Lol, I hate Pinterest too. You look at Pinterest and then you look at your budget and you’re like “CURSE YOUUUUUUUU!”

That said, I can honestly tell you I have done nothing from Pinterest for my wedding. Nothing at all. I’m okay with that. 🙂

@MissCountryGirl727:  Congratulations.. and it is going to be an awesome day for you.  I think we should all just be “Over it”.  My nickname became the anti bride… and I was ok with it.

@dreamer1288:  LOL.. that is a good one…. I get the Eloping piece of it, and I even made that statement… we should just eloped.. but that was frustration, we are both really big family people and it would not have been the same without all of my family.

Trust me excitement does eventually kick in.. I think what restarted it for me was two things.  1. My Bridal shower and all of the love that showered on me that day

            2.  I got back to working it out at 5:30 a.m which has gotten my adrenalin pumping and I am in a better place now.

YESSSS. Oh god, we’re 25 days away and I just no longer give a shit. I want it to be done and over with. It’s no longer fun to plan. I’m stressed, not because things are going poorly (well, some things are) but because I am just SO SO SO done. I want it to be 26 days from now when we’re finally married and sipping fruity drinks in Jamaica.

More like F-U!  We’re down to the wire so really all we have left to buy is food, booze/drinks, cake, and flowers.  Crossing my fingers I have enough to cover it all the week of the wedding.

@beachbride1216:  Well yeah, I wanted to type F*CK YOUUUUUU! But I was trying to be polite. XD

I lied, actually. We’re typing our own mad-lib cards for people to fill out a la Pinterest. But we’re not stupid enough to order them from Etsy for $30 when we have Microsoft Word, Photoshop and a printer. 😛

I’m having more fun with home repairs than starting my wedding DIY projects. Sighhhh

Our engagement was almost 3 years, I spent the whole time planning. So yeah, I got tired of it! About 4 months before the wedding I called DH in tears telling him that I didn’t want the wedding anymore. I wanted to run off to the coast, just us, and get married. So we did! Eloping was the BEST choice! But that’s just for us, it’s not for everyone obviously 🙂

Wedding planning is stressful as heck, but in the end it’ll be SO worth it!

@PacificMrs:  Every time I get stressed I tell FI we should just elope.  Then he takes over whatever task is stressing me out and gets it done for me.  He really really really wants a wedding and not to elope.
