I'm half way through season 4 and also just started watching this summer. Glad to hear it's still just as exciting at the end!
i looooove dexter!! FI and I have watched the first 3 seasons and we're anxiously waiting for season 4 to come out on blu ray!! We dont have show time so we have to wait for the dvds (which is good and bad. bad bc it takes longer and we have to actively avoid hearing things about it. good because once it is finally out we can watch a whole season in a few days!)
I watched last season and was hooked! But it was the first and last time we get Showtime :( Maybe I can watch it online somewhere...
oh gosh it's so hard for me to talk about this show with people who haven't watched the whole thing knowing what happens in the last episode. I fear I've said too much already!
We watched the first 3 seasons on Netflix and we ended up adding show time so we could watch season 4 on demand and so we can watch season 5 as soon as it starts! Only 11 more days until Season 4 is out on DVD and Blu-ray!
We also watched some of Season 4 online before we got showtime at tvduck.com/dexter :)
@justeen: I think for a while we watched it on the showtime website. It may just be there when the current season is on. If not you can download episodes on bit torrent Every episode is there somewhere.
Gawsh, I can't WAIT for it to come out on DVD!! We always watch via Netflix. As soon as it comes out I am WATCHING!! GAAAH!
We are really excited to start watching it again...even though what happened in the last season i swore I would not continue watching the show...but now i have gotten over it and probably will watch it
I know I was so upset when Season 4 ended but now I'm over it and can't wait to see how Season 5 starts!! We're actually having a "Dexter Party" for the premiere with our other Dexter loving friends. Can. Not. Wait. :D
For those waiting on season 4, you have so much to look forward to! Best season yet, IMO.

It took me a good 2 full seasons before I liked a single one of the characters, but now I'm totally hooked. The last season was beyond good. John Lithgow is the creepiest man alive!
i just finished watching the last two seasons...season 4 ending was KILLER (no pun intended lol!!) i'm antsy for the new season to start...can't wait to see what happens next!
I just finished watching the Season Four Finale. (Thank you Netflix) I'm like...WTF. WTF?!?! The LAST 30 SECONDS?? REALLY?? I was bawling!! (Didn't help that MB was in my arms at the time and I'm just like "Awww Harrison [sob, sob] that is SO SAD! [sob]"

I am DYING for season 5 to start and I'm counting down the days until September 26th! My cousin told me to watch it a few months ago and SO and I couldn't make ourselves stop watching until we finished it!
