OK, I am addicted to Bridezillas. I think it is because those brides make me feel very cool, calm and often - skinny (although I am not!). Every time I think I am losing it, I watch one I have recorded and I end up feeling very organized and together! LOL

Absolutely! I love watching that show mainly because I feel like I am so picky (I think its because my family has said I was picky from the day I was born) but these women make me see that I'm much easier going than most. I don't care about the invitations I'm using being a different purple than the bridesmaids dresses. Its great that other people make such a big deal out of the smallest crap.

and skinny... ahaha! All those brides are trash who think they're royalty! It's wildly hilarious & sometimes upsetting.

I'm addicted & I got my FI addicted to it too... normally he can't be bothered to watch that stuff with me! Ocassionally I've even thrown in "See- look how lucky you are to have such a sweet girl like me!" lol I can totally relate to you blue.

Can you believe how horrible some of those women are? There's an old episode floating around "Dawn & Jeremy" I actually cried for that man. I sat there sobbing thinking "get out NOW!" I couldn't believe Dawn could belittle her future husband that way. No one deserves to be picked apart like that... especially because she was more declasse than Jeremy.

I watch that.  I have to admit it.  And I had T watch one episode (ok two maybe) also.  That way he KNOWS WHAT A GOOD CATCH he has instead of somebody asking for the moon!

My fave was the episode of the bride and her sister who was a beauty queen.  The sister (aka beauty queen) thought the bride didn't have much "class" so she accompanied her to visit the vendors and wore her crown and sash.  I am NOT kidding!  And then the bride was tasting some fried chicken later and exclaimed "What wine goes with fried chicken?"

That's my all time favorite line of all ever..ever on bridezillas!

OMG!  I'm not alone.  Now I don't feel so guilty about watching this show.  These women make Jerry Springer's guests look normal.  I have seen the above mentioned episodes, but there is one bridezilla whose sister took the cake.  Her sister was a large and in charge girl that complained her dress made her look "fat."  It's hard to make 300+lbs look skinny.  But I am not a size 0 either.  so whatever.

I just feel so much better about myself after watching this show.

I can't wait to watch Sunday

Every time i see nutty people like that i go, "omg, crazy B*tches!" and remind myself that my freak outs are small beans seeing as how i don't a) yell and scream b) throw tantrums c) throw things d) smash cake with my hand.

They're sooooo whiny! Self-centered brats. I feel sorry for their men and future children! And anyone subject to their Sweet Sixteen behavior Anyone else watching Bridezillas cos it makes you feel better? : wedding Icon Razz

That show bugs the hell out of me. I get so frustrated watching these self-centered girls who don't deserve the men they have. When the show is over I feel sorry for their poor husbands...

Then...I watch another one. I can't look away! The show is very addicting. It does help one keep sane through the wedding planning...

I think I'm in the minority because I can't get through a complete episode - I get so worked up by the bridezillas I need to switch to a different show!

I love it too, and just like many of you I make my FI watch too so I can tell him how lucky he is to have me and remind him how I'm not like that at all!

Generally watching the show doesn't make me feel better... rather it scares me to death about loosing my cool.  Never in a million years would I act like an ungrateful tyrant, but I'm afraid of someone slapping the B-label on me if there's a few irrational tears.  Plus, I'm a little turned off by the girls who play it up to the camera.  But let me stumble across an episode with genuine loonies and I'm hooked! :D

I will sometimes turn it on when I am cleaning or doing something where I don't have to just sit there and watch it. those girls are crazy and I pray that it is all an act for the camera!

And I really don't feel too bad for the guys. Seriously! You cannot tell me that all of a sudden she started acting like that and you had no idea what you were getting into! There has got to be A LOT of warning signs. They made their choice and good luck to them! Anyone else watching Bridezillas cos it makes you feel better? : wedding Icon Eek

It is almost painful to watch these women be so horrid. And yet I do. . . .LOL It most definatley makes me feel sane. But the thing about that show that makes me crazy is, they arent bridezillas. . really. . . yes they are brides and they are monsters. . but there is NO WAY wedding planning alone makes you THAT much of  witch with a B.!

ugh, I wish, we don't have this in Switzerland. :(

But I will be watching lots of stuff when I go back to the US for the wedding - Bridezillas, million dollar weddings or whatever it's called, and unrelated - Top Chef, LOST, whatever reruns are on!!

Hey, sometimes they have a good reason to be going off. There are some nightmare vendors out there and I know if my dress got lost when i went to pick it up I would be right there being the Bridezilla. We don't work that hard for a perfect day and put out that much money just for careless people to mess it up for us.

hahaha I cant stand that show, too bratty

I love to watch whose wedding is it anyways and say yes to the dress, much more happy vibe; I sometimes cry when I watch them recite their vows; I just know I'll be a mess on my day

Ah, the sister and the beauty queen sister-it doesn't get much trashier than wanting a grooms cake in the shape of a certain female anatomy part so that "he will be having his last piece!"

I love Bridezillas and make my FI watch it, but he secretly likes it! Just today (I'm having a brutal day at work hence my being on here instead of doing any work - I'm protesting) he said to me, "Don't worry baby. I'll clean the bathroom and you can put on the new Bridezillas and have a glass of wine." And THAT, among a million other reasons, is why I'm marrying him.

@Bellenga....I was just laughing with my FI about that episode the other day. The part where she asked her nail tech for a nail tip so that she could pick the chicken out of her teeth had me rolling!! LOL!

At the beginning of this season they did a show on some of the brides on the show and one couple had gotten divorced. I can't remember the name of the couple but it was an AA couple where the bride left her fiance outside sobbing in the car while she went in to rehearsal. I remember watching that episode and saying she doesn't want to be married she just wants a wedding and it's not going to last. Some of those brides are hella crazy.
