How long is the front of the dress? I think as long as it's below the knee, it will look gorgeous I'm sure!
I love that syle and have considered it for my reception dress, but I know my FI probably wouldnt like it too much. Its gorgoes but very trendy and it comes in and out of style with alarming frequency so I decided against it. I still think high-lows are stunning though, and they are huge for spring in formal wear!
My fiance's cousin altered her mom's wedding dress like that. I'd post pictures but I don't feel comfortable without her consent. It looked gorgeous though and if you love it I say go for it!
mine is just above the knee. i know ...shocking.
@MissTatas: i actually passed the style by my FH because i thought there was a good chance he would prefer a more traditional look! he said go for it though.
i hope it's as i imagined
Hmm well just above the knee isn't too bad, as long as you don't go as short as the one from Project Runway!
My update: Here i am in my hi-lo custom dress
Met with my dress maker today and tried on the muslin. I should write an entire post about getting your dress custom-made but i will focus on the style for this one.
I'm really happy with it! This dress will be made in raw silk (a nude tone) and that will really add some 'weight' to the dress.
My friend took a video of me in it and i am in love with the way it moves.
Thoughts? Let's all keep in mind! This is just the muslin ...

I'm sending a virtual pat on the back to you for having the cojones to go for something a bit different- I think your dress is awesome and beautiful and it absolutely suits you. Please post pics of the finished result. :) It makes me think bohemian chic.
I tired this one on. I liked it well enough, just not the big flower. I was not happy in this dress, just laughing at a joke...it's also 2 sizes to small so I was holding it up by my arms...I'm 5'3" size 18.

I think that dress is VERY pretty and super unique! Congrats to you.. I've never seen anything like it, and that is pretty cool to be able to say!

Ugh. Sorry ladies. While i actually do have this dress back from the dressmaker, it's sitting in my walk-in and not going anywhere anytime soon.

My wedding dress is a hi-low. Im a WTOO Uliana bride. I love the fashion foward concept of the hi-low. Cant wait till my gown gets in. Its expected to ship out in June.

Who can wear these?
I do not have the best legs in the world but i was very attracted to this style the very first time i saw it. Anyone else?
I'm getting mine custom-made and i just got the call to come and try on the muslin mock-up.
Any real examples out there?
