I am using aqua and chocolate as our colors. I am DIYing my flowers so they are going to be pretty simple. I am having my BM's carry white roses and I will have red roses. Our centerpieces are also going to be red roses with votive candles around them and blue ribbon around the vase.
use pinks or yellows they look SOOO good with these colors...but choose one of them...my color is tiffany blue im using pink flowers ...my bouquet consists of cybidium orchids and roses in shades of pinks, white, and ivory....its ok to go all out...
Our colors are black and the tiffany blue, teal....really about 3 different variations of that shade of blue. I think adding in white or ivory would be nice for you..
I am also using aqua/chocolate/ivory. We are using yellow latex calla lilys vs fresh flowers. They aren't exactly yellow. They seem to be ivory with a tint of brown in them. Love, love, love them PLUS they are inexpensive.
I like the idea of ivory/cream colored flowers mixed with some yellow flowers.
We have shimmery coopery brown with light blue & peacock accents - so we are using mainly white/ivory orchids & roses in our decor - I figured any other color unless perfectly coordinated my a florist to your color scheme might be too much and wash out the color scheme and maybe overpower it - also we are in Miami and doing a south beach loungy outdoor portion which will be all white with blue uplighting - I might go with the blue flowers and natural glammed out alternatives to flowers (like coral pieces) in that area.
Unless you are working with a florist or your venue needs the extra color - Id stick with natrual tones of flowers and not too much matchy matchy.

Hey, bees! I realized today that I am second guessing some of my ideas/planning for my tiffany blue and brown wedding. One thing I am second guessing for sure is my choice for flowers. My bridesmaids are wearing chocolate brown dresses and I was going to have them carry just blue hydrangeas but now I'm afraid I'm making everything too matchy matchy and I need to introduce more colors! What are you ladies doing for flowers? And what type of things are you doing to make you colors not to matchy matchy but go together well at the same time (ceremony, reception, centerpieces, etc.)?
