I wanna hear from those of you who have had the insides of your rings engraved (or who plan to.)
My FI are going to have: “above all else / above all others” (or maybe before all else/before all others, we haven’t decided yet!) because we believe that a happy marriage comes from always putting each other before everything else in life.
So what have you got engraved, or what are you planning to engrave and why?

I plan on engraving FI ring with “I carry your heart with me” from the E.E. Cummings poem.

Yes, mine has “Jose 10-06-2012” and his, “Sonia 10-06-2012”

I am engraving our wedding date on my engagement ring. I am blessed to be able to have heirloom rings, I am having my grandmother, great grandmother and great x2 grandmother’s rings soldered together to make my band. Each one is engraved with their wedding dates and the jeweler is able to preserve the engraving. If you intend on passing down engraving is great and the date can make it even more special and easier to trace whose ring it is 100 years down the road.

I have my engagement ring engraved with ” Forever and always” and the date we got engaged. Havn’t decided what I will get on the wedding band mayby “Have my heart”

It’ll be something nerdy. I haven’t told him that I’m planning on ask the jeweller to do it after we pick the rings.

Hubby has our wedding date etc in binary.

We will have “2legit2quit” on our wedding bands. It’s our song.
Simply my husband’s name and the date of our wedding on mine and my name and date on his.

Ours are both engraved. I had DH’s (tungsten) engraved with “You are so loved” and our wedding date, and he engraved mine with “How Sweet It Is” which is a very significant song for us, and something he always writes in letters or cards to me.

Just our wedding date. That way FI will never forget an anniversary!

our thing was always the “to infinity and beyond” quote from buzzlight year.. My FI put “to infinity” in my E-Ring. That’s probably my favorite part of my ring. I’m going to put
“and beyond” in his wedding band.

“You and only you” or “You and no one else” from our favorite song “Monotov’s Private Opera” by Third Eye Blind. It’ll also be the last song played at the wedding. The whole lyric is really cute and even the whole song, but unfortunately all that won’t fit on the rings!

FH’s ring is engraved with “my favorite” – before we actually said “I love you”, I would tell him that he was my favorite whenever the urge struck 😉
