Hi, I haven't done so, but I was wondering where you ordered from and if you have received and how did it turn out! It looks like I'm in the same boat as you, so any input would b great!
Thanks!
what is the vendor rating on ebay?
what is the site?
would love to order my daughter one
I ordered a sheer one and it was beautifully made and the fit was perfect. Don't worry. Sounds like a good deal to me. Hope you checked the feedback first!
Smyley, I've been looking for a simple sheer one. Where did you find yours?
i have been looking for a chiffon one. any ideas?! thanks ladies
I was planning to order one off Etsy. Smyley can you tell me what vendor you ordered from?
Bees! Watch out for the $20 boleros from China! I was scammed. I ordered this beauty about two months ago and it never came, but several weeks later, I received an e-mail from E-Bay telling me this was a scam and to cancel if it was within a certain time period, which it was not (if memory serves) or I was just too darn busy with all the other planning details to get it together. I wish I could tell you which company because they can't all be scam artists -- this one asked for measurements and all that and I thought it was legit... but it was also, like you say, impossible to get in touch with them via e-mail because they didn't really exist; just took the money and ran.
I do not IN ANY WAY want this post to be self-serving because I now have three, yep, 3 ! gorgeous boleros (I went a little bolero crazy -- I think they're very, very pretty, or can be) and obviously I only wore 1 for my June wedding. I just haven't gotten organized yet to post pix of them and lots of other stuff, which I will do in the next coupla weeks. One is lace from RK Bridal (gorgeous, Alencon lace, at a hefty $174; it's the one I wore so I'd take a lot less) and the other two I actually had made earlier on a trip to Europe... one is satin and the other is all organza. More later.... just be careful out there!
@JoeBeth12: Did you ever sell your boleros? I might be interested in taking one off your hands! Thanks.

I just ordered a lace bolero jacket to look like the Jim Hjelm one below off of ebay and it's coming from China. It was only $20 with shipping so if it's bad it's not that HUGE of a waste... anyone else ever do this? It has been hard communicating with the seller due to language barrier so I am a little curious on how it will turn out or fit. What was your experience and what did it look like? How was the quality?
THANKS for the feedback!
