I am looking for a better skin care routine. Currently, I use Stridex pads to clean my face in the mornings (sometimes at night as well), and usually use a face wash in the shower, a generic version of Clearasil. I have Clearasil Acne Treatment cream also, but I’m terrible about remembering to put it on every day. Would like to be better at this.
I remember using Queen Helene Mint Julep mask when I was younger, was considering using that again as I have large pores on my face. Also suffer from blackheads on my nose. 🙁 I have combination skin, face gets oily in the T-zone.
Was considering a kit to keep things simple. Any recommendations? Thanks. 🙂

@stephanie3973: I have combination skin, and when I was in my teeand was always trying to find that miracle cure. I found the best thing was an ordinary face wash and lotion rather than moisturiser. I use a store’s own brand and find it’s perfect. I always found moisturiser a bit heavy and greasy.

@stephanie3973: I bought the Clean & Clear advantage kit while browsing the aisle at walmart at 2am last night. I used it last night and noticed a difference in my acne this morning. I often break out in my t-zone, especially on my chin. I did look up reviews and have some concerns though. It has 10% benzoyl peroxide, which some said is too harsh for some skin. I’m going to stick to it for a week and decide if it works for my skin. I’ve had way too many break outs lately to not try something before the wedding!!
