Looking into photographers now and noticed that they are so inexpensive and I'm wondering if it's for a reason!

I am not sure, but if you are talking about Modern Image Studios I would stay away from them. A friend of a friend used them for her wedding and after two years still havent received her DVD with images. Check out their reviews and you will be surprised!

I booked Mark Fillies (www.MarkFillies.com) very reasonable prices and does an outstanding job!

I meant to add that Peter used to work for Modern Image, but he is cheaper on his own, and does GREAT WORK.

Yes, I have used them and I wouldn't recommend it. They were nice at the beginning but the manager was very unprofessional. They did not take all the pictures we took the time to write out and give them and on top of it all they lost some of our pictures. We had to deal with them for a year after our wedding and Still they wouldn't give us a refund.

There are better companies to deal with out there.

We used Modern Image and LOVED them. Jeff Owen was our photographer and he was amazing. We found the customer service to be very available and helpful throughout the whole process. Jeff was fun to work with, and the photos were up online and our digital negatives were ready a week after the wedding. They were by far our favorite vendor. I think it depends on the photographer you choose, but I would definitely recommend him!

I am using Modern Image too, SweetestDayBride - Jeff Owen is also our photographer! My aunt and cousin also used Modern Image and had nothing but great things to say about them! They have great rates, and I've see GREAT albums/videos from them. So far we've done our engagement session. Jeff got our photos online by that night (lucky I know, but he was as excited as I was). My cousin had him as a photographer for her wedding 9/19/09. A friends from high school also used MI and used John Concannon and had great things to say about him! So far, no problems!!
