Anyone familiar with the north side of Lake Tahoe?

Does anyone have recommendations for a place to do wedding pictures with the wedding party on the north side of the lake? We will only have about an hour. We did some engagement photos at Sand Harbor which is gorgeous, but I'm wondering where else you would go?

If you have any pictures to share (wedding or otherwise), I'd love to see them!

I'm not as familiar with the North Shore, but I could suggest a couple places:

Burnt Cedar Beach is one of our favorite beaches in North Shore, if you wanted to do something by the water.

There's a nice park off Vivian Lane in Incline Village, if you wanted to do pictures in the trees/forest.

On the West Shore (north west shore, I guess) is the Gatekeeper's Mansion and Erhman Mansion in Sugar Pine. Both are beuatiful.

Where are you getting married? I could make more suggestions based on where you're at, so they're close enough to your wedding venues.

Did you want outdoor photos? There's always King's Beach, too. There's a restaurant with a pier on Carnelian Bay... Gar Woods, I think. That might be a nice spot for photos.

If you wanted indoor photos, there is a gorgeous Catholic church in Incline, St. Francis of Assisi. They might let you take pictures there if you called and asked.

Usually Mrs. DG is kinda the resident expert on the north shore, but she's in Hawaii right now; lucky girl!
