Spanx? Unfortunately you can’t spot reduce. What you can do is exercise and eat less. I’d suggest trying something like MyFitnessPal to come up with a plan and track calories. It’s been very helpful for me and it’s free.

Cut out carbs, including carbs from fruits. If you are going to do sit ups, make sure that you are doing them correctly or you will add belly instead of reduce it.

Ditch the carbs. I really think that carbs add bloat and stomach fat more than other foods.

I agree with PP-cut carbs. I did a fairly strict low carb diet for two weeks and saw the most significant improvement in my stomach. Feel free to PM me if you’d like me to send it to you!

spanx. losing stomach weight is harder than anywhere else, i’ve found. and if you need to lose it to fit into a dress, spanx are how i’d do it.

Agree with PP.  You can’t spot reduce.  The only thing you can do is cardio and eating less to take off any real weight, starting right now.  You could significantly reduce foods that cause bloating in the 2 weeks leading up to your wedding though.  It won’t necessarily be fat loss, but it will help.

I suppose everyone is different.  When I like to gain muscle in my tummy area, I like to do it without restricting carbohydrates cause that would drive me nuts.  I love food!  So what do I do?   A combination of running/aquafit/yoga/pilates and weight lifting at least 4 times a week does me wonders.  I rotate between these activities depending on how much time i have. 

Eating fibre loaded fruits/grains/vegetables, and increasing your vegetable proteins (legumes, tofu) instead of eating meat also helps.  The trick is to eat complex carbohydrates that are healthy and non-processed example) brown vrs. white rice. 

I also monitor my sugar intake.  I try not to eat too many sweets, try to stay away from processed food and try not to drink pop.   These are empty calories that aren’t necessary in your diet and are terrible for your health in general.  Hard to do during Halloween season though!!
