My son and FDIL's favorite hangouts are Firestones (college bar and grill, great food), The Cliffs bar and restaurant in Pismo Beach (go for happy hour...free apetizers) Splash Cafe in Pismo for clam chowder. There are tons of wineries up the Cuesta grade in Paso Robles (about 30 minute drive) and a few in Edna Valley around SLO. If you want to stay in SLO, the Embassy Suites is really nice and has free breakfast and free cocktail hour! There are lots of fun shops on Higuera and Monterey streets downtown. Have fun!

My girls and I are going to be spending a girls weekend in San Luis Obispo. We want to hit up all of the fun bars and beaches and we reallly want to go wine tasting.
Any recommendations on where to stay? Where to go wine tasting? Or fun places to hang out?
