Yep, I'm getting them too! About 5 times in the last 10 minutes...
No popups for me, but the site is SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, keeps stalling and taking forever to go from the main page to the boards.
I am too! Its not media player though. It says its Help and Support, and the message says it cannot display the page. I was about to go Office Space on my computer, good thing I didn't!
Well I'm glad I'm not the only one!
It almost caused me to stay away from the boards this morning.. but I put on my boots and trudged thru :) Glad to see you all did too!
My AVG keeps coming up when I log in saying it blocked something!
Yeah, my Windows Media Player keeps opening and then my browser crashes. Sigh.
I am getting the Help and Support window also. Glad to know its not just me :)
It opened windows media player and asked me to upgrade something called starlight. I closed that window and I haven't gotten any other pop-ups. I have noticed that the site is moving pretty slow though...for the past few days actually. I have had a few accidental double-postings as a result.
Mine says Help and Support. I don't need any help and support! Go away!! :)
yep... and as a computer tech, I'm baffled. Thought it was something fishy with the computer, but glad to know it isn't me!!!
I haven't had any issues with the site. What internet browser are you using? Google Chrome is working fine for me.
AVG said it blocked a threat when I clicked on Ms. Guinea Pig's post. The rest of the site seems to be OK. Maybe she has a bad link in her post?
YES!! The windows media thing. I thought there might be a virus or something!
This is what I'm getting!
I can't click "X" and when I click "no" it just comes back a few seconds later.

I'm also getting runtime errors... it's weird. It's like every 8 or 10 pages i click on... ugh. Might have to call it quits on weddingbee today :(

I don't see anything in the source code, so maybe it's been fixed.
YES!! I keep getting the "Help and Support" window! Here I'm thinking I must have a virus on my work computer. Thank goodness we're all having this issue!
Thanks bringing this up ladies! At least one hostess (me, haha) and a moderator have let the tech team know - hopefully they'll get it sorted out quickly!
If you get that window where you can't click the "X" hit escape, then close the media player window.

Is anyone else getting annoying pop-ups when they come to the site today? Windows media player pops up and asks you if you want to play the video?
