Like others have suggested in this forum in the past, I HIGHLY recommend cruisecritic.com. I found tours/excursions that I booked privately for much less than the cruise lines. I was able to find people to share the tours with to reduce the price.

We are going on a Med cruise for our honeymoon! We leave November 21 from Barcelona. Which line are you thinking of for your trip?
Ummm I think I might be on the same cruise as mundaetraversa! We are leaving Nov 21 from Barcelona, and stopping in Rome, Athens, Ephesus, Cairo, Malta and back to Barcelona. We absolutely can't wait. We'll be cruising with Norweigian Cruise Line! The cruise was very affordable, and even airfare was inexpensive (for international). We booked airfare and hotels through Expedia and the cruise itself through NCL. We've booked a few excursions through NCL and sicne it's our first cruise, we figured we'd be safe and book through the ship. When we get more experience with cruising we might book privately with other cruisers.
We're taking one in November through Costa Cruiseline. We leave from Savona, Italy and stop in Naples, Sicily, Cyprus, Turkey, Egypt and Greece. I've never been on a cruise before...FI has been on several Caribbean cruises, but never a Mediterranean one. We are so excited! We'll be spending Thanksgiving Day in Egypt, looking at the pyramids! 
We are on the same cruise! And it's our first cruise, too. What are the chances? We should have dinner one night on the ship!
@mundaetraversa: It's our first cruise too (at least together). I went on a Carnival cruise when I was in high school but this is our first one to Europe. We should definitely plan to have dinner! How fun! WeddingBee makes the world so much smaller!

I'm not really sure what cruise line we were thinking about doing? I really know nothing about this, but we are going to go to a travel agent next week.
