It looks like you like the ruffles and layers! I love layers and ruffles too! My dream dress is the one I got but every now and then I see dresses I would have loved to try on, just for the sake of it.

Here are a few I wouldn’t mind trying:

I’ve been returning to this dress for months now. Its a dress by a New Zealand designer, Sally Eagle. There are only two places in New Zealand that I could try it on, neither of which are in the South Island. And the fact that its between 5-6 times my wedding dress budget means I’ll just have to dream. Or look into getting something similar made for me… Its perfect though. Has a low back edged by the lace of the straps.

I’ve been obsessed with Watters Sterling and Watters San Francisco for ages. They’re similar in shape, but I prefer the neckline and back of San Francisco and the waistband on Sterling.

Too bad for me no one in my city carries Watters dresses! Plus Sterling is discontinued and I’ve heard some people say San Francisco is too!

And they’re both out of my preferred budget.

I am probably going to get a replica made combining the elements I love.

Watters Sterling

Watters San Francisco

Closeups of the front and back of each. San Francisco top, Sterling bottom.

babycuddlebee:  well, I actually have a dress which I love. I think for me, it was a choice of sexy or princess and I decided on the latter. Here is my actual dream dress (which is what I’m wearing). It’s by Rosa Clara.

babycuddlebee:  Oh and yes, I think that’s be great; incorporating all your favorite elements into one dress. I’m sure there are plenty of dressmakers who can do that for you. It’d be lovely!

I am in love with the Maggie Sottero Mia. http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?style=J1513

Most of my friends that I have shown it to are a bit surprised that I love it so much as they envisioned me wearing something much more “blingy” I guess you could say. However I love that it is a bit daring with the unlined corset top, but is well balanced by the satin bottom, allowing it to be tasteful and refined while being fun/youthful.

I think Aire Barcelona Ocarina is breathtakingly beautiful, especially the scalloped back under the lace…. swoon. Of course I would have to sell a kidney to afford it! lol

Dandeliion:  That’s stunning! I’ve never heard of that designer before, I googled her and her designs are gorgeous!

MsMeow:  Beautiful! I think Aire Barcelona are part of the Rosa Clara design house (I might be wrong though). They have such beautiful and elegant designs!
