Considering a 10kt yellow gold diamond stackable ring from Walmart so that I can buy two for symmetry. Walmart has them listed at $189 and similar rings at other stores I am finding are usually around $400. Since I am wanting two, I am really considering buying from Walmart.
Has anyone here gotten their ering or band from Walmart? Can you share your experience and how you found the quality?
What they list as the diamond quality is about the same as the other stores list, so I am not sure how theres such a major price difference between stores…

a_day_at_the_fair: I got married with a plain white gold Walmart band. I think that is as far as I’d go with wedding jewelry from them. I bought a citrine ring from Walmart and lost the stone with in days. I know some people have had good luck with Walmart jewelry, but that has not been my experience. I’d be afraid to get anything too intricate from them.

I think I would have no problem with a plain band but anything more intricate or involving settings I’d be a bit more hesitant.

a_day_at_the_fair: if it’s bead set pave, you might lose stones quite quickly, which defeats the purpose. if it’s channel set, you’ll be safer.

My anniversary ring is from Walmart. I’ve had it over a year. It’s gorgeous and has held up exquisitely!
