- Shop Weddingbee
Personally I have not had any luck yet selling my dress. It is also new with tags. I have it on weddingbee, oncewed, craigslist...and some other one I forget. I priced it at half of what it's worth. Be prepared to be patient, it's been over 2 months and I haven't gotten anything but spam. Then again if you have something really popular right now you may not have any trouble at all. Ebay is going to be my last resort.
I would scroll through the 'looking' section of the dress classified section, it's really helpful to see what people are searching for, maybe even your exact dress! Good luck!
i had my dress on oncewed, weddingbee, and after a while, decided to put it up on ebay and it sold within 5 days. I paid a fee, but it's out of my closet.
Have you ladies tried http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/ I was looking on this site for awhile thinking I was going to purchase one from this site! Instead I bought a new dress from a local bridal shop. The site looks reputable!
i sold my J Crew dress -- which didn't fit, sadly -- on PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com . it worked well, tho there was a fee.. was it $25? probably eBay would have worked just as well.
You might want to check out this Wall Street Journal Article, comparing the effectiveness of different sites in selling a dress.
Have you tried a consignment shop? I know we have several bridal only consignment shops here in Atlanta. They take a cut too, but I think you're more likely to sell it faster if people can try it on. (Not always, though - I bought mine on Weddingbee).
I haven't sold anything but I did by my wedding dress weddingbee.com and am completely happy I did so!
I bought my brand new dress on PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com and I couldn't be happier... I got it for like 65% off the retail price, so it was a real bargain! Love it! :)

I'm considering selling my never worn wedding dress and wanted to ask people about their experience in selling wedding items either on Weddingbee or using another site (Ebay etc). Does anyone have any advice?
Before I take the step of getting a different dress, I just want to make sure that I'll be able to sell my current dress. I know I won't get full price for it obviously, but I just want to make sure I can even sell it in the first place.
Thanks!
