I bought my dress at edressilyme.com and couldn’t be happier.  It came in less than a month and cost 10% of what the same dress would have cost in a bridal salon.  I am attempting to attach a photo, hopefully it works but I would highly recommend this website.  They communciated via email throughout the whole process which helped me keep my peace of mind.

There’s several threads about replica gowns.  Before you try a vendor, I would get quotes from several different ones since each Chinese vendor has an expertise.  Check out post from @adwc. Also there are dedicated boards for Milly Bridals and Dressilyme.com.  Also I checked bestweddingdestination.com, the Knock-off Thread, where several brides purchased from sellers linked to DHGate.com.  I actually am having a dress made from Duosheng because they had designs of 2 dresses that I wanted to re-create.   Also DHGate is the Chinese version of Ebay.  I had a difficult time logging on so that’s why I went through US Ebay.   Check out the threads but here’s some basic info:

Milly Bridal- Great for Lace Dresses.  More expensive and require more time so you have to be patient.

Dressilyme- Great for Chiffon [email protected] purchased 2 dresses from the.

Landy Bridal

DHGate- Babyonline and Monica Bridal.  A ton of Canadian brides have used them.  Monica is the more expensive and has the better quality.  Babyonline is just a step below.  Check out the Knockoff thread on bestweddingdestination.com so you can see some of the finished product.  Brides have been utilizing these 2 for over 2yrs.

Also please remember that the Chinese have several weeklong holidays.  There’s Chinese New year, Golden Week(I believe Feb), and Labor Week(May) plus others sprinkled in there.   Make sure to order accordingly so you won’t freak out if you don’t get any responses or your dress is held up in Customs.

Good Luck!!!

I just tried to purchase a dress from DHgate.com. I had a friend tell me about it, which she’d purchased her dress from. She said she loved it and it was perfect. Like I said, I tried to order and for some lame reason my bank and credit card were saying that I needed to verify some crap. In the end, it said it was verified, but nothing has been charged to my account yet. I’ll keep posted on what happens. I just don’t want to put in my credit card information again and have it double charged.

@breckbride:

Sorry got cut off. ^_^ I really like the cut and the fit of your gown. Can’t tell it didn’t come from the salon.
