I had a ring guard on my ring for about a month, then finally took it in to get sized. I’m not sure what size it was originally, but my FI didn’t have the time before he proposed to get it sized (took 2 weeks), so the ring guard it was. It was alright, but I prefer having it sixed correctly. I felt that I needed to adjust it a lot. I had to get it sized doen to a 6, and could maybe go a little smaller than that even.

I had to wear one on my e-ring for the first couple of weeks until I could have it resized. My fiance bought a 6.5 and I’m a 4.5, so I couldn’t keep it on my finger without one. It was pretty uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend resizing your ring instead.

cdpslh913059487:  oh okay.  Well my advice would be to size up from your e-ring size.  When I added the ring guard of the same size as my e-ring it was far too tight.  This is because all the extra bulk makes it harder for your finger to bend.  I will likely go up a quarter to half size on both the e-ring and the ring guard right before the wedding.  Good luck!
