Hi all- I received my boyfriend’s grandmothers ring when we got engaged. I love it- but having difficulties finding a band that will look good with this type of a ring- Im more into the pave/ antique look. I really do not want baguettes in my band but not sure what would look good with this ring. My other option was to custom make a halo with two seperate rings to flank both sides of the original, which would make it more my style. Wondering if anyone has anything similar and what they chose for a band? Thanks so much!

Mine’s sort of like yours. It has the round center stone, then 3 smaller round stones on each side, and 3 tapered baguettes at each end. My wedding ring is actually a 5 stone anniversary band.

Go the custom route! It will be just what you want, and no one else will have one quite like you!

also a vintage e-ring but my baguettes are not tapered, and the round accent stones provided something else to play off of for the band…

Update: Exactly 3 years after purchasing my gorgeous vintage e-ring, my husband and I suddenly (and accidentally) noticed that we prefer it with a simple plain band. I had just never tried one in my search to find the perfect band. So I wear it that way now, and wear my original (vintage) channel set diamond wedding ring as an “anniversary band” on the other hand.
