What do you guys do for Valentine’s Day? Dinner out, etc. I know we have talked about gifts, but I always like to hear what other couples do.
For the past five years, we have gone to the same restaurant every V-Day. Sounds lame, but it is a super expensive steakhouse, and we save it for V-Day. We ALMOST went right after our engagement, but decided to save it 🙂 It’s pretty much the only time of year we drop $200 on dinner, totally worth it though!
So, what are you doing?

@Linz1231: That sounds fun!
Fiance and I don’t really celebrate it. I run a chocolate store, so Valentine’s Day is pretty chaotic for me. Last year he surprised me at work with some flowers, though. It was pretty sweet.

@McVerde: Haha, I work for a florist, so I never get flowers. But I would love some chocolates!

My Fiance and I are having our engagement party on Feb 13th (the day before V-day).
Not sure what we’ll do for valentine’s day itself. It is our 7 year anniversary (and last dating anniversary) so hopefully something fun.

No plans, probably work. Darling Husband is USAF and is stationed elsewhere, so…. another V-Day apart from each other. Probably just talk on Skype. Oh well. Im used to it at this point.

I love basketball and the L.A. Lakers are my favorite team. They are playing in Charlotte, NC on Valentine’s Day so my Fiance got us tickets and we are going to spend the night in Charlotte.

@Linz1231: LOL! Yeah, I told Fiance on one of our first dates that if he got me chocolate for Valentine’s Day, I’d have to break up with him. 😉

We are going to take a small day trip. It’s the town we both realized we wanted to take friendship to relationship.

Last year we bought a dinner from the chef who did our wedding. He does all the food up, delivers it that day, and you just have to heat it up and put it on the plates, it was AMAZING, omg. I’m praying that he does it again this year 🙂 I’m thinking I also have to do something very very very nice for Darling Husband since he’s been so good to me since I hurt my arm. Poor man has to wash my hair and make dinner. He deserves something great this year 🙂

He’s definitely not buying me flowers! They are so expensive this time of year. We’re most likely going away for a weekend to our favorite B and B in CT

We’re going to cook dinner and NOT talk about the wedding for the entire night
Considering that’s 5 days before the wedding and 2 days before family arrives, I think it will be a lovely break!

My Fiance planned a weekend in the mountains for us. I plan on making something crafty for him. We’ll probably have a nice dinner while there, and go snowshoeing and shopping! usually we just have dinner though

We are doing dinner and a movie the night before since my Fiance has to work on V day. Last year we spent over 200 on dinner so this year we want to do something a little cheaper since we are saving for our wedding 🙂
