I don't have one but a good friend of mine has a four leaf clover on her foot. I was there when she had it done. I think she said it hurts. There's not a lot of skin down there, so I'm sure it hurt.
I can't remember what else she said because it was years ago this was done but I hope it went numb like when I had my tattoo done (shoulder blade area.)
I have one! It kinda hurt like a mofo, but it was over soon. I've had dental surgery that hurt worse, so it's not the worst pain you'll ever experience, but it does hurt!

I do! I'll post pictures when I get home but as far as pain it hurt more than the one in between my shoulder blades but WAY less than the one on my ribs. I also have one that goes from my butt cheek down part of my thigh and of hurt more than my thigh area, but less then the area right under my butt cheek...that area hurt more than i thought it would considering its so fleshy!
YES!
I didn't cry, but I was sweating like crazy.
Either way though, it's super cute. I love it!

I don't have one but if I ever do get a tattoo, it would most likely be on my foot.
I have one! It really hurt, almost as bad as my wrist. Here is mine:
I took this right after I got it done, so ignore the goop! Ha! It says "Yahweh", which is the Hebrew word for God. I'm not Jewish, but I am Christian and I love the way that Hebrew looks, such a beautiful language!
Here's mine! It hurt real bad... please excuse my sandy and ugly feet. We were at the Bahamas :)
@SoonToBeeMrsD:love hebrew letters... I have my name in hebrew on my back!
My niece was in a beauty pagent, and one of the women that were "helping out" had this HUGE flamingo that had the bird part on her foot and the feathers going up her shin, to her knee. She said it hurt worse then anything else on earth.
yeah i use the term "beauty pagent" extremely loosely
@jo.lee: who are you? seriously? me in a different body? I don't have that tattoo, but I WOULD have that tattoo. OMG I LOVE IT.
I wonder about you missy.
Here is my little star, it hurt less than the one on the inside of my ankle and the one on my hip.

I have one, but I don't know if I have a picture of it... Maybe somewhere. Anywho, mines two dragonflies about 4 x 4", full color. It didn't really hurt, but it was sensitive near the sides of my foot and closer to my toes. My tattoo artist is light handed compared to most and you barely even know he's tattooing. It's been 4 years and it still looks perfect. I get asked if it's real all the time.
Here's mine! I thought I was going to go to school for ornithology, hence the lovely bird :) And yes, it hurt like a mother! I've had surgeries, injuries, and pierced nipples, but this puppy takes the gold medal for pain, lol

@.twist.: Haha, thank you! I always get asked if I did theater because of it (and I didn't), but I got it for the symbolism of masks, plus because Phantom of the Opera is the greatest thing ever, lol. Sometimes it annoys me because I have to wear pants instead of a skirt to job interviews, but other than that, I love it.
Here is mine!!! I love it! The first time didnt hurt! But the ink fades alot faster than other tats so I got it RE INKED and I don't remember it HURTING AS BAD AS IT DID!!!!!!

My foot tattoo hardly hurt. The only time it hurt was when he was shadding it.
@jo.lee: I haven't done theatre either, but Phantom of the Opera is just one of my favorite (plays, movies, soundtrack) ever. Since I can remember.
I have a Celtic knot on my left foot, and it hurt like ^$&(%# ^$*&%#. They had to hold my foot/leg down because it hurt so badly when they went over the ligaments and nerves that extend the legth of the foot. I have a tattoo on my back, as well, and this was way, way, way, way worse. I ended up just leaving it black and white because I couldn't take it any longer for them to do the shading (luckily, I think I like it better that way anyway!)
(mine is much larger than the ones that most of the ladies who say it didn't hurt have, so that could be part of it)
Yep, you can see it here.

It hurt a lot. The tattoo artist told me they have to go deeper/through more layers of skin than other body parts, so the design won't fade. Had it for 6 years now and it still looks very good.
I don't have a pic but I have a medium size butterfly on my right foot... it was my high school rebelious moment but I still love it! What I hate is that I have to cover it up everyday for work....I go through bandaids like crazy!! lol
