Hi bees, I posted this under another topic, but didn't get much response, so I'll try here. :) I ended up getting my girls new bridesmaid dress after changing our color scheme from royal blue to purple (my craziest bride moment...so far ;)). I basically bought the new ones myself and swapped them with the dresses the girls bought, which cost me a nice chunk of change, and now I have three royal blue dresses I'd like to sell. I've tried e-bay and this site as well, with no luck thus far. Has anyone used any other medium, like woreitonce.com, preownedweddingdresses.com, or oncewed.com? I hesitate to use a site that charges me a listing fee, since I've already lost enough money on these dresses, so I'd rather be sure I have a decent chance of getting them sold before using a site like one of those.

On a related note, has anyone been successful selling their wedding dress on any of those sites? I'm considering selling my Maggie Sottero dress after the wedding, although it has been somewhat altered to fit me, so I'm not sure how that affects my chances there.

Try listing them in the Weddingbee Classifieds and on Oncewed. I have sold a bunch of stuff on the Weddingbee Classifieds (including BM dresses) and sold a wedding gown on Oncewed.

BTW, as long as you're up front about it, it shouldn't matter that the dress has been altered. Just include your measurements and you should be fine.

I've listed the BM dresses here, but no luck so far. :/ Which is why I'm wondering if there is another site out there I could try. Oncewed looks like a great site to sell a wedding dress on, but as far as I can tell, they don't have a BM dress section?
