Just a quick question for all you bees out there who’ve used Cards&Pockets.com
I ordered a sample back in Jan, including the printer test kit, it was all wonderful, and printed brilliantly, so ordered a whole lot of stuff ($350 worth, so pockets, cards, etc), and recieved it in April. Wedding isn’t for ages, so just got around to printing yesterday. Low and behold, the paper is different!
The sample printed fine on my home printer, but the paper I recieved (which is marked the same as the one I tried and ordered), isn;t printing as well, the ink is bleeding into the paper, and it;snot as clear and crisp.
i’ve emailed them to see what they say, but wondered if anyone else had the same issue? Maybe they’ve changed suppliers or something?

@dommiebatsch: my first assumption was that you’re in the us and i was thinking in summer they should print better, not worse! But ahhhhh cold damp victoria could be your problem. Printers hate paper that isnt Perfectly dry and crisp!
Also if youve had an ink refill or are using an aftermarket cartridge – whether laser or inkjet – could result in the same problem, but at this stage my money’s on damp paper.

I would wait to see about their response. We ordered from C & P and had a small issue with the proof they sent us. Their customer service was amazing and they were beyond helpful. The print shop at C & P is fantastic as well so maybe they could help/have some suggestions.

I thought the dampness of the paper / ink might be the issue too, but I still had a few pieces spare from the test kit, so I re-printed on those again last night as well. (and they’ve been stored together). The test paper still printed fine, but the new paper not so well

The only issue I saw was that their pocketfolds weren’t sized right for a 5×7 flat card invite. But that’s not related to ur particular issue.
