My son is going to be my ring bearer (he will be 3 by then) and my friends daughter who is 9 i believe will be my flower girl. by then she will be 10 1/2
My two boys (they'll be 6.5 and 5 at wedding time) are going to be escorting me down the aisle. FI's two children will be our "junior" attendants. I'm very excited that they will be participating in the ceremony.
my daughter will be 8 at the time and willaccompany my dad walking medown the aile, and his daughter will be our flower girl.
i think we willhave them both come to the front and be announced as a family too, light a family unity candle or something
My daughter (who will be 14) is going to be my maid of honor, my elder son (who will be 12) will be walking me down the aisle and my youngest (who will be 10) is going to be the "master of the rings".
We're also incorporating vows to them during the ceremony which will include giving them each a gift to symbolize our commitment to each other as a family.

I want my niece and cousin to be the flower girls. they will both be around 2 at the time. i hope they even can make it down the aisle without too much foolishness.
My cousins 3 year old was our ring bearer, he was terrific. We attempted to have her 15 month daughter as the flower girl, she did so great at the rehearsal, cute as a button toddling down the aisle but the day of the wedding she got a little shy with so many people there, ah well, it was worth a try.
Our daughter will be our flower girl. My bridesmaid/best friend has 6 children! =) They will be ring bearers (2 of them age 4 and 1) and another flower girl (3 year old) and the older boys will be ushers for the rest of the family.
We also have a 3 year old niece who will be flowergirl.
Yes, my daughter is 5 and will be our flower girl and walk with her mommy down the aisle. :-) So cute that your FI wants your son to be involved like that!
My son will be 3 1/2 by our wedding. I'm excited for him to be the ring bearer!
My daughter will be just turning 7 when we get married, and she is going to be our flower girl. She looks like Tinkerbell! Lol
I was the flower girl when my mom married my stepdad (I was 6). When the officiant said something like "look into her eyes," he crouched down and looked at me! I still have a great memory of that.
He could be the ring bearer--- but if you want to include him in the ceremony, I would recommend including him in the first part, when he's least likely to start acting his age :) Then he can sit with a grandparent/aunt/uncle/friend whatever, who can keep him entertained or at least mostly quiet for the rest.

I have a 20 month old son. He will be 2 1/2 next year when I get married (not to his dad either!), and I have been trying to figure out how to make him a part of the wedding. Its hard because he won't have much of an attention span! My fiance actually asked me last night if my son could be one of his groomsmen and walk down the isle! (*melts my heart*) What are you guys doing (if applicable) or what are your thoughts/suggestions?
