I ordered my dress a few months back. Unfortunately, I have no idea what length the train will be until it arrives. It will arrive in July, but in Canada, and I likely won’t see it until the wedding. I know I want a Chapel length veil, but can’t find any here in Jordan, to try on. I would love to see some photos of brides veils. I am not sure if I should get it 54″ wide or 72″ wide. If anyone has photos, please post pics and the dimensions and where you ordered from!
I would really appreciate any help with this one, as I will have to order online!

do you have any idea how long yoru train is? sweep vs. chapel vs cathedral? because if you want a veil that extends past your dress you kinda have to know that. keep in mind a chapel length veil will not go much more past a sweep train. if you want a veil to go past a chapel train, you have to have something in the 90″ range.
if you go here: http://www.weddingveil.com/veils2/catalog.php and tool around their site, they have tons of pictures so you can see where it would fall on different dresses.

Thanks so much! I forgot when I ordered my dress, to ask approximately how long the train would be. I have sort of measured what I think I would need to meet the train and that would be around 6 ft, so I think going with 7ft should work, but I don’t want it too much longer than my dress.

I’m interested to see the difference between a 54 inch wide veil and a 72 inch wide veil if anyone has any photos?

I believe width has to do with sheerness and not with length…I have a cathedral veil that is 108″ long (which I think is standard cathedral length and works wth my dress which has a long train) and it’s 72″ wide, which is standard fullness. If I ordered it at 54″ fullness, it would be more sheer.
