One of my favorite inspiration shoots is a very autumny wedding with aubergine, cream, and gold:

I definitely think that your colors work for a November wedding. You could also use some slate grey to make it more seasonally appropriate:
Your colors are gorgeous - don't worry too much! :)
the ballroom chairs are gold chivari, so i'm trying to stay away from grey
I am doing a purple wedding but it's not until 3/25
I think purple with gold/champagne with hints of cream would look beautiful

I also think you can do purple with dark red

My wedding is in december and I have also chosen a darker shade of purple (have not decided between plum or eggplant yet but those are the contenders). I have decided to use ivory and gold with the darker shade of purple. I want a romantic feel as well. I have been having the hardest time trying to come up with decor ideas so I'm curious to see other posters input!
I'm getting married 10/27/12 and I'm doing eggplant, or plum, champagne, and lilac. The nice thing about dark dresses is the fact that they are flattering on most girls, and the girls would be more likely to re-wear the dress.
Hello, I too have a purple/plum bridesmaid dresses and my matron and maid of honor will be wearingn sangria. To add to this, my chivari chairs in the reception are gold and I purchased plum chargers. I have no idea what color linens to use...I am curiouis to see what you have settled on. My wedding is in oct 2012
@weddinglr: My hubby and I had our colors represent our two families/sides of the party. I had my brother as a bride's assistant, my BM and MOH all in shades of purple while my DH, Best Man, groomsman, and groom's assistant were all in shades of orange and gold. This color theme was throughout our decor, too, as you see here in the organza drapes...

We had our good friend as our "flower dancer" in the lightest shade of purple:

I think your colors will go well together beautifully for that time of year. Have fun planning!
we will be doing purple orange charcoal grey- but wont be til june... so once we do it i will post the photos.

I did purple & green for my beach wedding. (Last 2 photos are mine, the rest were my inspiration.)
For some reason my orchids look pink in my real photos, but they were actually dark purple!

I'm getting married on 11/23/12. I would like my bridesmaids to wear a dark shade of purple (plum or eggplant) but I also wanted a romantic feel to my wedding. Does lavendar, creams, and champagnes work with this? Does this not go with the time of year? I'm afraid the BM dresses will be too dark and not match the style of the wedding, but I don't want them to wear lavendar. Any ideas? Does anyone have photos of their purple wedding?
