Here is a picture of my Jenna bustled at my wedding.  It’s dragging on the ground a little in the picture because my photographer bustled it instead of my mom, and I don’t think she did it quite right, but you can get the general idea.  I actually think that Jenna is one of the prettiest dresses bustled (maybe I’m biased) because if you do a French Bustle you can barely tell it’s bustled at all because of the layers. Essentially you’re just pulling the last layer up (well depending on your height).  Once I get the pro pictures back I’ll try to add some of those because they might be clearer.

I agree…in order to preserve the integrity of the ruffled look you can either do 1 or 2 layers of the french bustle (tied up underneath) or 1 or 2 layers over bustle…You can’t tell that it is even bustled b/c the first layer of ruffles covers everything…..I’m short so I had two layers done….and mine has hooks instead of ribbons.
