We’re having it in a traditional hall and using mason jar/rustic centerpieces so I’m no help! lol We’re from farm families so we couldn’t imagine having anything else. We’re not using a barn though because our barns are used for actual livestock and feed lol I’ve been to weddings in halls with gorgeous centerpeices, typically really tall floral centerpieces with pearls and crystals hanging down. It did cost them over 11K for the flowers alone though…

Ok I am sorry there are so many photos. But I had 3 different centerpieces. I used tall flower centerpieces. some medium and some goblets. All the vases were mercury glass. I do have lace but that isnt apart of the actual centerpieces. I went for a more vintage inspired kinda theme. The picture with the mr. mrs. frame is our sweetheart table and we had two large altar flowers on either side of the stage for the sweetheart table. Also it is not in all the photos but we had silver picture frames with our engagment photos on all the tables.

@MsBark:  We are having our reception at a Legion. Our centerpeices are little white lanterns. We will have two on each table. One on a hanger and one sitting on the table and we will have petals all around. The hanger for the one lantern will have a bow tied on it. The petals and bow will be dark purple and the tablecloths are black.

We’re getting married in a hotel ballroom and I feel your pain! It’s hard to find much inspiration these days. We’re not doing rustic, but are trying to import a more casual feel into the hall because we really don’t want it to feel formal or stuffy. We haven’t officially picked our centrepieces yet but I’m thinking of doing sort of loose, unstructured flowers with lots of greenery in a low arrangement surrounding a lantern. Sort of like this, but with the flowers coming out a bit farther –
