We worked with them early on and found them to be very unresponsive to our needs. We got a sample menu with a per person price, and asked how much the price could be brought down if we cut out certain items (about 1/3 of total menu). They told us the price would remain the same no matter how much food we cut. They also put down our vision for a Sunday afternoon wedding with dancing and told us that it wouldn't be a real wedding. We stopped working with them shortly after.
That said, if you are planning a traditional Saturday evening event and aren't on a tight budget, I think you should be fine.
I actually worked for them for 1 month....which is all it took for me to see they were not a company I wanted to be associated with. They are very set in their ways and not open with working with brides and their vision. My best advice is to stay away from venues they are exclusive to and stay away from them!

O My! I am super glad that I posted this because I have had a pretty good experience so far but am still waiting on my quote. I told them specifically how much I wanted to spend and said if they couldn't work with my budget that I wasn't interested. I will have to keep you posted......

Hi bees! I am currently working on booking the TRUST venue formerly known as the FUEL house and am working with a couple of their preferred caterers. I have really enjoyed working with Megan of Catering By Design and I am wondering if anyone has used them or known someone who used them. They have been very flexible but we'll see if they can get everything I want for the right price :-) Any information would help! Thanks!
