@Jennyemm: Oooh; I don’t know..had not heard of them until your post. Spent some time browsing the website, and the “about me” page and use of understandable English leads me to believe that their claim to being located in MA could be true. Which specific dress are you looking for? There are some awesome shopper bees who might be able to find it preowned, or Hulu could explore a replica. Jasmine’s and DressilyMe have good reviews.

@Jennyemm:  at least she’s willing to work with you. I buy and sell on Tradesy, and know that their customer service folks are REAL people who try hard to make things right. Perhaps the dress is from a broken engagement and she doesn’t want the reminder? Whatever the case, I hope it all works out for you!

@Jennyemm:  Please Please Please Do Not Purchase a dress from Busy Mom’s Bridal Boutique!!! I purchased the exact dress that you are talking about and it turned into a TOTAL nightmare. First off I ordered an ivory dress, and the dress was white. The bottom of the dress looked like it had been hacked at by a preschooler learning how to use scissors. It was HORRIBLE. I’m glad that she warned you that the dresses are from China, because she did not warn me. While the dress looks similiar to CKP421, it doesn’t fit the same way (the cut of the waist is very different) and the detail overlay was very different. It looked like an overlay was cut and pasted onto the dress instead of being sown directly onto the dress. When I called the shop about returning the owner was very rude. When we finally convinced the owner to allow us to return the dress she suddenly stopped responding to emails and didn’t refund the credit card that the dress had been charged to. We had to call our credit card company to dispute the charges. Complete nightmare!!!! I hope I’m not writing this too late for you!!!

@kfernandez1016:  I just had the same thing happen to me. She was impossible to get in touch with and made excuses to not be able to meet with me. Now I’m two months from my wedding a need a whole new dress. The dress she assured me was my Alfred Angelo, was so far from the real thing. It was HUGE on me despite measuring, the top was totally different beading, the skirt was a mermaid instead of A-line, it felt cheap and looked AWFUL. Now she is not returning any of our calls. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN! I am now being forced to pay extra for a rush delivery on my dress from the actual Alfred Angelo store.

BE WARNED!  DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WOMAN OR YOU ARE RISKING HEARTACHE!!

Prior to purchase of an Alfred Angelo dress I asked specifically if the dress was an authentic Alfred Angelo.  Linda Yarmey, Busy Mom’s Bridal owner, said it was (it was twice the price of what the Chinese knock-offs were selling).  She promised 5 weeks delivery.

After 5 weeks she said it would be delivered in 6 weeks.  Then after 8 weeks it was “on the way”.  Then it was “lost in the mail” and her supplier was sending another dress “the next day”!!  Finally, after 10 weeks it was delivered.

A complete mess.  An obvious knock-off fraud with no label, wrong trim, wrong cut, etc.  Yarmey said it was her supplier’s fault and it should have been authentic.  I returned the dress at my $30 cost and she promised a refund several times.  When she said she would “send a money order” I knew something was really stinky.  I filed a claim with PayPal and my credit card.  She was still promising a refund to me while at the same time telling PayPal just the opposite story.  She made one false claim after another.

Each of our 8 brides maids also ordered dresses from  Yarmey.  Yarmey never delivered any of the 8 brides maids dresses and all the brides maids had to individually file claims with their financial institutions to get their money back.

Dishonest.  Dishonest.  Dishonest.  What more can I say.

If you want trouble and heartache at a time that you should be happily celebrating, Busy Mom’s is the place to find it.
