I've never used Jane Iredale makeup, but I would check out makeupalley.com for product reviews. You should be able to get some information from there.
I have never used Jane Iredale but I've heard of them. makeupalley, I forget about that site! I also like cosmeticcop.com use it with caution though because she doesn't always test the product as much as she does analyz the ingredients. I usually do a combination of research but it's a helpful site and I've had good results with it.
It is a mineral based makeup and they won the Allure award for tinted moisturizer....Its available at several Apothecary's which is great that its not in big box retailers. Its prices are pretty comparable to those color lines at Nordstroms. Actually here in Seattle its available at the Nordstrom Spa but not on the floor - - I think this makeup line looks great!!!!
I use Jane Iredale products. I have super sensitive skin and have had problems with foundations drying out my skin or making it super greasy. I discovered Jane Iredale about 5 years ago and haven't turned back! It's mineral make-up but is definitely not drying the way bare minerals is. I use the concealer, liquid foundation, loose powder, blush, eye shadow...even the brushes! I've received lots of compliments on my skin ever since I switched from MAC to Jane Iredale. I highly recommend it but I would definitely check out makeupalley to see what others think. I've convinced my gfs to switch to JI too :-)
one of my girlfriends used to use it instead of BareMinerals, it was her favorite mineral makeup ... be careful though, mineral foundation isn't ideal for photographs.
@peanut: thanks for the reminder! i think mineral make-up in photos when going out is fine, can't really tell the diff from when I use JI and when I used other products...but since professional photos are so much more detailed and clear...you might want to check out some pics with brides who have used a mineral make-up on their wedding day.
Super helpful! Thanks girls!!! I'll do my research :) Should I take pictures of it at the salon with my friends canon to see how it turns out?
I have heard good things about JI. I've done some research on picture taking and mineral makeup (since everyone is using it...) Some are better than others (not too reflective) so just give it a try.

So I'm getting married in Vermont and my choices are few. The salon which I just booked my consulation with says they have a professional that uses the Jane Iredale makeup collection.
Anyone of heard or used their products? What should I expect at this trial and do just to make sure that it all looks the way it should the big day?
Yayeee so excited!!! (but a little nervous)
